If stunt casting is a way to get more people to watch a show, then let's hope it works tonight for NBC's hilarious Chuck. Nicole Richie makes her long-awaited guest appearance as a high school acquaintance of Sarah's, and all signs point to it being awesome. Here's a short list of reasons why it should be great:
- Richie's character is named Heather Chandler — ha!
- Heather turns up suddenly in Burbank and reveals a ton of information that could blow Sarah's cover, including her name and hometown.
- Through her, we get flashbacks to an awkward, mousy, braces-wearing version of Sarah.
- Heather was a total mean girl in high school, but she ended up marrying a nerdy classmate, played by Ben Savage.
- There's going to be a fight scene between Nicole and Sarah in the gym showers at their high school reunion.

1i think that a LOT of shows are trying this idea this season to have a high profile guest star kind of like what HIMYM did last year when they saw a HUGE ratings jump. i don't know if nicole is going to do it for them this time though since she's been on the DL for so long and she's been normal. i guess we'll have to see what the ratings tell us.

4I don't normally watch this show, but I'm gonna watch it tonight. It's much easier to do that then wait for my dial up internet to load the videos. But I saw a clip on Ellen and it looks like it's gonna be good. =]

7nicole richie did a fantastic job! i hope she does more tv - i would definitely watch her. i hadn't watched chuck since it's premiere but thanks to last night's show i have set it to record on my dvr.
8Ben Savage was great! Nicole was a bore when she talked, although she did really well in the fight scenes. Yvonne's high school makeover (makeunder?) was fantastic, and her back story teaser left me wanting more. The BuyMore storyline was useless this ep.
9I thought Nicole did a good job...and Ben Savage!! I was so happy to see him! I miss Boy Meets World.
10seriously she was great fun to watch --- not a regular watcher of Chuck but this season is better than last. seriously enjoyed this episode though
