October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and tonight, NBC's Kath and Kim is getting into the act. The mother-daughter team at the heart of the comedy has hooked up with Ford's Warriors in Pink campaign to help promote awareness of the disease in tonight's episode.
Anyone who tunes into the show tonight will have a chance to win a Ford Warriors in Pink Mustang (which will also be Kim's car for the duration of the season — huh, who knew she had a license?). There's also a funny little spot at the end of the show spotlighting breast cancer awareness in a way that only Kath and Kim can: by talking about how they need to pick a cause, what with being celebrities and all.
Last week's Kath and Kim premiere got a mixed reaction, but this sounds like as good a reason as any to give the show another try. If you didn't see the first episode, you can watch a quick recap of it if you read more.

We'll watch it again. There were some really hilarious one-liners last week - some of which hubby and I are still repeating to one another (especially the whole bit about needing a dog as a best friend). Hoping it gets funnier and a little less... awkward.
Love that there aren't
any laugh tracks though.
1I watched the first one for about 15 minutes and had to change it. I couldn't stand Selma Blair's character.
2I thought this show was funny!
3This show doesn't hold a candle to the original!
4i missed the first one but i'm going to do my best to make sure to catch tonight's episode. i really do think that it could be a really funny show in the middle of a lot of serious ones - so i can't wait to see what happens. i saw selma on leno (or was it letterman) the other night and she was a riot
5I've seen every episode of the Australian version. Some of the jokes need translating. But once you get you get. I laughed so i hard i cryed. Kath and Kim don't cut it. And sadly Selma Blair is no Kim!!!!!!!!!
