Got your tissues handy? Because this trailer's probably going to make you sad and if you're like me (highly prone to crying at trailers) you might shed a tear (or five). Starring Michelle Williams and Ewan McGregor, Incendiary (based on a novel of the same name) is the story of a woman who loses her son and her husband in a suicide bombing, an event made more traumatic by the fact that she witnesses the attack on TV with the man with whom she's having an affair. I know, insanely sad.
The movie garnered a lot of attention at Sundance this year partly due to Williams's performance (which is supposed to be amazing) and also because of the eerie correspondence of its premiere with the death of Heath Ledger. The whole scenario becomes quite dark but definitely looks riveting as well.
A U.S. release date for Incendiary is so far unknown. To watch the trailer, read more.

If just the trailer is this heart wrenching, I don't know if I'll be able to take the whole film! Do *adore* Ewan, he's the perfect balance of sexy and tough, soft and innocent.
1Looks awesome, and since my husband has a crush on Michelle Williams, I think I can get him to take me to this!
P.S. I think this comment will earn me my 666th point. Creepy!
2This looks terrific, and I'm so glad to see how much Michelle Williams has broken out since her Creek days. Oh, and Ewan is perfection, but I've known that since, oh, 1995...
3BUZZ! OMG, I thought I was the only person who cries at trailers...almost every trailer i see in the theater makes me teary, and it is embarrassing! I won't watch this one at work then.
4...oh, and I'm glad I didn't cry at this trailer since I'm at work. I'm not one to do that though. Plus I think I've been cried out from watching "Into the Wild" last night. GOOD LORD.
5wow - thats going to be a tough one to watch.
6I think that is a stay at home with a REALLY large box of tissues.
Not a bad accent on her part either!
i'm soo happy that she's getting noticed again for her acting - i have always been a huge fan of hers and i think that people like to make a bigger deal of her relationship rather than what she does - and this is the best platform for her to come back out with. i can't wait to find out if/when the movie will open here in the states.
7Wow- thats gonna be terribly sad/ really good.
8what a sad story! But it looks really good, just don't know if I can handle watching it!
9wow :`(
10This will be so hard to watch, yet I'm anxious to see it. I'll be prepared with tissues.
11it is kinda scary that chris cleave kinda predicted london terrorist attacts. as much i know from the novel this is not entirely dark.
michelle and ewan really like eachother it seems.
she deserves to be noticed as an incredible actress. and she never even attended acting school.
12Omg, how guilty would you feel if your husband died while you were sleeping with someone else? Looks so sad.
13Oh man, I LOVE Ewan McGregor. And this looks good, so i'll definitely see it.
14I want to see this.
15Michelle was AWESOME in this (and I'm not a big fan), but the movie lost focus about halfway through and then the ending was just a huge
16Hallmark-y disappointment.
I just started crying watching this trailer, so I will definitely be going to see it!
17weren't they in some movie together that came out last year?
18I think Michelle deserves best fake british accent of the year award. I thought it was someone else talking in the beginning.
19Wow - I've got no business watching that one. I'm in near hysterics over the one scene in the trailer where she is sleeping and thinks she hears her son calling her...
20ewan and michelle were together in "Deception". it pretty much sucked. they really wasted 3 great actors in that project. although michelle williams looked heavenly there.
ewan has some kind of thing for her- when asked about role models or favorite people in some interview, he mentioned michelle williams. it sounded kinda weird to have a role model 10 years younger than him...so go figure.
21Wow to witness the death of your child and husband while having an affair.. that would be crazy
22Another great novel made into a movie. I hope this one is good. It feels strange to be looking forward to two adaptations that are completely different; Twilight, sexy vampire fluff, and Incendiary, poignant, inspiring and heart-wrenching. So, so funny.
23Oh, and ditto on Michelle's accent. She sounds amazing.
24yep, this would make me cry. ditto the comments about michelle's accent, she sounds very authentic. would be so hard for me to watch though as a mum of a little boy.
25I love Ewan, he's great and we don't see enough of him. Don't care for her or the bad Cockney imitation.
26I'm English and Michelle totally nailed that accent. If I didn't know who she was, I would've thought she was English!
I like how it's not a stereotypical English accent (posh or cockney). It sounds like an accent I would hear in everyday life. She did her homework!
27i might see it
28God....i love this girl.
Miss pics of Michelle and Matilda.
29*tear I really want to watch this movie now.
BTW, Ewan is sooo incredibly HOT!!
301. Love Ewan... will see any movie he is in. 2. This one looks good, but probably a little hard to watch.
31Michelle and Ewan are both wonderful actors so I'm definitely going to watch this one. It looks terribly sad though. And I agree about Michelle's British accent, it's very good!
32I want to see this movie
