In an early promotional stunt, Disney is featuring nine minutes of their upcoming summer flick Ratatouille on Disney.com — for today (May 1) only. The animated family movie focuses on Remy the rat who wants to be the greatest chef in Paris. He finds that he just might have a chance when he teams up with the clumsy kitchen worker Linguini.

The animation has all of Pixar's usual magnificence, and Remy is a cute, lovable character... er, he's as cute and lovable as a rat can be. Still, it's hard to get past the natural nausea induced from watching a rat skitter around a kitchen — leaping on plates, climbing around pots, and wriggling in food. Shudder. Aside from that, however, it looks to be another sweet, well-done title for Disney-Pixar's arsenal of entertaining family films. If you have nine minutes today, Ratatouille is definitely worth a watch.

I afraid of mice and rats, but the movie looks cute.
Style Before Comfort!
1This is really cute. If you don't have nine minutes, it's still worth watching some of it.
2ahh, my boys enjoyed it. Looks cute.
3Seems like a really sweet film. I'll definitely take my younger sister to see it this summer.
4I'm SO looking forward to watching it movie
5I am watching it when I get home from work...so I can have the sound up!!
6I saw this when it first appeared online by accident.
Best scene for me, and I hate rodents, was when Remy took a drop of water and washed his hands before handing the stuff that went into the soup.
If only I could get the hubster to do the same!
Love this film, and Patton Oswalt's stand up comedy. Yay!
