While Marilyn Manson is running around being creepy and dating a 19-year-old, Trent Reznor is still hunkering down and making good music. With both Nine Inch Nails and Tori Amos releasing new albums, I feel sort of like I'm reliving my high school years, but when it comes to quality hard music, I've always had a soft spot for Reznor.

NIN's Year Zero hits stores today — the band's first album since 2005's With Teeth. Reznor says the album is set about 15 years into the future, when "the world has reached the breaking point — politically, spiritually and ecologically." Though that kind of concept album could easily become pretentious, the first single, "Capital G," is refreshingly straightforward, and the rest of the album, which you can stream over at AOL Music, is similarly mature and somewhat of a return to NIN's roots. So listen to "Capital G" and tell me what you think when you read more
