Shia LaBeouf is everywhere, and don't expect him to go away any time soon, because this weekend proved the young star has serious star power. His new movie, Disturbia, was No. 1 at the box office this weekend, reports Variety, taking in $23 million.

Carry-overs Blades of Glory and Meet the Robinsons took second and third place, while the dreadful Halle Berry vehicle Perfect Stranger landed in the fourth spot, bringing in $11.5 million. There was also more bad news for Grindhouse, which saw revenues fall 63 percent in its second weekend of release.
I'm glad to see Shia LaBeouf and Disturbia succeed. The movie accomplished what it set out to do very well, and the same can be said for its box-office performance. The PG-13 thriller was obviously designed to get teens into theaters, and that's precisely what happened.

I was among the masses that went to see Disturbia this weekend! It was decent.. the best part was seeing Shia on the big screen! I have been a fan since Holes.
1Shia was great as the host of SNL this weekend, too.
2Yeah he was really good on SNL. That was one of the funniest episodes that I've seen in a long time. But the only thing I remember Shia being in was Even Stevens on Disney.
3I saw the movie Saturday afternoon and was pleased beyond anything I could have expected. It was great. Shia was great. And now that he's a legal 20 year old, it's no longer too terribly inappropriate to have a crush on him (I'm 24) like I did back when he was on Even Stevens.
4I saw this dubbed Rear Window for teens, lol. He was so cute in Holes. That was a neat movie.
He was good on SNL, and so was Avril, they even had her in a skit.

I have wanted to see this since I saw the first trailer. It looks awesome and Shia is great! Ever since Shia was in Even Stevens I have been a fan. If I have a little boy I am going to name him Shia. Seriously. I have told my hubbie that ever since the show Even Stevens.
Way to go Shia! I just know that Transformers is going to rock too! Oh and let's not forget about the upcoming Indiana Jones!
6Hubby saw this over the weekend and said it was really good. We're big Shia fans.
7I saw the movie last night, and it was amazing!!! =] I am in love with Shia
8I am happy it all worked out for Shia. I can't wait to see the movie. SNL was pretty funny when he hosted.
9I thought he totally disappeared after I saw him on Charlie's Angels 2 years ago, but suddenly he's appearing everywhere. Lol.
I reallyyyy want to watch this movie.
10I saw his movie this weekend- soo good! I'll admit too that i have a crush on him now
