Sweet New Trailer For The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

The new trailer for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is even more informative and interesting than the others that have come before it, and I am so intrigued by the eerie whimsy of it all. Brad Pitt plays Benjamin Button, a man who is born old and ages backwards, growing younger as the years go by. As an elderly child
(yeah. . . that's right, I think), he befriends a little girl, Daisy, who grows older in the regular way, so at some point the two are the same age, "meeting in the middle." The story, along with the girl's reddish-brown hair remind me a little bit of The Time Traveler's Wife, the film version of which may be hitting theaters at the same time as Benjamin Button: Dec. 25.

This new trailer gives me goosebumps, a mixture of the good kind of chills and the willies. To see for yourself, read more.

"He looks just like my ex-husband" totally cracked me up. I'm soooo excited to see this! I remember when they were filming it I kept hoping I'd catch a glimpse of Brad. Never did, but a girl can dream Smiling

No but all my neighbors did! As soon as I found out I jetted home and they were wrapping up. A lot of Louisiana was used for shooting so everybody was on Pitt-watch.

I know you were bummed out. But, it's still cool that the movie was filmed in front of your house.

This movie looks so good. The special effects must be amazing, especially since they filmed the movie two or three years ago. I went to an all girls Catholic high school, and Brad was filming a scene across the street, so we were let out of school early because they didn't want to create a scene haha.

i have to say that as much as i don't care for bard - i think that i could be convinced to see this movie. my fiance is a die hard fan and thinks that he really deserves to get nominated for his roles, and this is one that he's talking about already. at least it's a concept that we haven't really seen before- especially in a time when all we see are sequels

I cannot wait to see this. The Assassination of Jesse James and Burn After Reading have really showcased and developed his skills as an actor. I'm glad he's choosing great films now instead of just crap and fluff. I love Cate, too.

This looks like an amazing and interesting film. I wish this film well when it releases; it seems like one that just might live up to it's promise. I cannot wait to see this movie. (And boy does Brad look hot at the end of the trailer Love .)

I can't wait to see this, Cate, Elle, Brad, and Taraji. I'm going to pay to see this too, not just sneak in.

The scene at my house is at -0:30 since the timer is running backwards apparently. Can you tell I live in Louisiana? haha!

Matinee price $6.25 (here in Louisville that is)
Price of that scene with Brad in the water looking at Cate: $3
The rest of the film will more than make up for the rest of the admission price. I am very very much looking forward to seeing this flick. It looks brooding, romantic, poetic AND bittersweet...a nice combo. And it has Brad Pitt...Sigh

I can't wait to see this...plus, it's based on a short story by F. Scott Fitzgerald, so you know it's going to be good!
