Some things at Sunday's Emmy Awards were pretty expected: 30 Rock making a big dent in the comedy categories, Mad Men winning for Outstanding Drama Series, etc. But there were also a few jaw-dropping moments along the way. What did you think was most surprising?

I was so surprised when Bryan Cranston won. He was definitely the dark horse in this race.
1Bryan Cranston !
2The Office not winning anything!
3Ivanek winning! That was definitely a highlight for me. Oh, and Paul Giammati winning for John Adams. Any win for John Adams had me cheering. Such a great mini-series.
4that somehow most were able to use some restraint and not make political/current event references.
5I had to come online to find out all of the winners because we had a blackout an hour into the show =(
6But, Bryan Cranston winning is definitely a big surprise. I mean, he's absolutely amazing in that show, but I didn't really think he was favored at all.
I'm also sad The Office didn't get anything =(
The Office was left out =/
7Ugh I was not happy to see Jeremy Piven win again, especially considering he has an ego the size of Russia. He's just plain annoying.
But I was glad to see Zeljko Ivanek and Bryan Cranston win, even though they butchered the former's name about four times. I like to see the dark horses win. It makes the show more interesting.
And Jeff Probst most certainly did not deserve a win for Survivor. That show is dreadful.
8Dexter/M.C. Hall was left out.
9Cranston's win and the terrible hosting.
10That The Wire was barely nominated!
11Chandra Wilson was robbed!
12Ditto to all the Office not winning comments! I really feel sometimes that Emmy's are given out to show with the biggest names- i.e. 30 Rock! I just can't believe anyone can think anyone is funnier than Michael Scott! I like Piven too much to crack on that win, but in reality it again seemed like an award going to the most well known name. . .just doesn't seem right . . .
13i'm not surprised that everyone seemed to think that the leading actor winner was a shocker but i'm surprised about jeremy piven winning again - he had great material for the season, but the show itself was lacking a bit. i'm happy that he got something though
14^ Neil Patrick should have won though, 3 times in a raw is too much.
15NPH won in my heart.
16Cranston! He's incredible and totally deserves it!
17How boring it was! ZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
18How boring it was! ZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
19NPH and Chandra Wilson both should have one supporting Emmys. Even just by looking at the clip of Chandra Wilson, it was obvious to me that she did the best. (Although, granted, I haven't watched "In Treatment" much at all.)
20The HORRIBLE HOSTS IN THE OPENING. With the exception of Tom Bergeron, the rest were a waste of time.
21Hugh Laurie and "House" were severely robbed...yet AGAIN!
22Was surprised Bryan Cranston won, but so happy. I LOVE Breaking Bad! Check it out people! Plus, very sad that NPH didn't win. That man is a comic genius!
23I am SO over Jeremy Piven winning year after year. He's not that funny and he's a total DB. I know it's based on "talent" but that kind of attitude doens't deserve to be awarded.
