1Christina Applegate. Fey appears to be just playing herself. That is her in every movie and more than half the skits she was in on SNL.

4i agree that tina was a good choice for this -although part of me wishes that christina had won - i'm a sucker for sentimental things.
5Sorry, but I totally disagree. IMO, Tina Fey is totally overrated (as is 30 Rock in general). She has moments that I think are funny and I think it's great that she's become such a success (especially as a woman writing comedy in a man's world), but TF just doesn't do it for me.
6The thing is that 30 Rock is a hilarious show, but Tina Fey is generally "the straight man." Essential to the show, but she doesn't get as many of the funny lines.
7I like Tina Fey, but I think she's an overrated actress. She's good, but not GREAT, although she definitely has her moments. I think Christina Applegate deserved the Emmy.
