I was like "seriously?" I love me some Shatner!
1should've been michael emerson, he's creepy as hell. in all fairness though i've never seen damages.
2I thought Emerson would take top honors, but to be honest, Zeljko Ivanek was really great in Damages and well deserving of the win.

4I think Ivanek literally made Damages the show it is. He was amazingly droll and disarming at the same time. The other characters nominated were great, but the shows would still have been great without them. So yes, I agree.

7i think that a lot of people were gunning for danson or shatner to win - so i think that this one came as a surprise - but what can you do. i think that sometimes it's nice to see someone that's not expected to win pick up the award.
8Best surprise of the night! I was afraid he would be completely overlooked. Ivanek was mesmerizing in Damages this past season. So disappointed that he won't be back for a second season (unless they do flashbacks), but his character went out in a very suitable way for the series. Looking forward to his next project!
