I remember when I first heard the casting news for the romantic comedy Management, and it seemed like an awesome idea to pair up the underrated (in my opinion) Steve Zahn with Jennifer Aniston. And ever since the movie earned some positive buzz after debuting at the Toronto International Film Festival, I've been anxious to see some footage.
Now we've got a clip from the movie, which is funny and gives me a better sense of the tone. Looks like another quirky, subtle performance from Aniston (like what I enjoyed about her in The Good Girl) and Zahn is subdued but no less hilarious. The movie follows a traveling art saleswoman and the hotel manager who stalks her has a crush on her. In this clip we see Aniston's character encouraging Zahn's character to touch her butt. Yes, that is what I said. To see for yourself, read more.

Maybe this is just a weird clip, but it didn't seem funny to me at all. Maybe when they come out with a trailer they'll put more into it.
I'm sorry but Jennifer Aniston will always be Rachel Green to me.
I really enjoyed that clip. In her interviews, Jen has described this as a "misfit love story," and it looks like she's right on that - both characters are just a little bit odd, and it sounds like it will be interesting and unexpected.
The first thing I noticed was the awful wig on her head. And, wasn't she working at an art gallery in 'The Break Up'? *sigh* This just looks like another boring Aniston , nothing better to do, film. And is Steve Zahn supposed to be reminding
us of Jason Mraz or pre-Jessica Simpson John Mayer?
This looks so boring. I think these kinds of movies skate by on being "quirky" when they're really just plotless and lifeless.
Well, at least her hair is not just straight down...but I don't look at Jennifer Aniston as a movie actress. I don't buy it. I can never believe her on the big screen. She's just Rachel Green always and forever.
Are you starting to see that Rachel Green was just Jennifer Aniston and there was no acting going on at all?... Hey! The cast of friends started the reality craze...they were just being themselves... all that money. WOW.
Jennifer Anniston just bores me now. All we ever get from her are the same recycled romantic comedies where she plays the same person over and over and over again.
i'm really looking forward to this movie - i'm a fan of jen's although sometimes i feel like she plays the same type of part over and over again. this could be a good movie and with all the buzz that it's been getting - it will probably draw a lot of people into theaters.
I don't think it will draw a lot of people into theaters, because I don't think most people will "get it." Has she ever made a movie that was critically praised besides The Good Girl? Because that's the only one I've seen where she doesn't play the same character over and over again. I mean, she was cute in Bruce Almighty and Along Came Polly but I think a lot of those films' successess are owed to her co-stars. I think she was great on Friends, and I will always think of her as Rachel Green too.
I agree Steve Zahn is underrated. I love him though, he is so funny and he can actually do dramatic very well ala Rescue Dawn.
I adore Steve Zahn and agree he's way underrated. Who is JA's manager? He or she must hate her.
I think it looks great. Too often comedies are spoiled by overly broad, over-the-top scenes. And I too agree Steve Zahn is underrated. He is fantastic... and is it me or is he getting hotter as time passes?
I'm excited for this movie to come out, she always plays such cool, quirky character. It'll be fun to watch to whole think when it comes out!
i can't wait to see all her new movies ..this one and the other upcoming
Her wig looks awful . . .I'll pass on this snoozefest
erm in derailed with Clive Owen she also broke out of the romantic comedy mode so...
Same with in Friends with Money
I enjoyed Jen in both The Good Girl and Friends with Money. I like her in these kind of movies. And Steve Zahn is definitively underrated. He played Phoebe's gay husband in Friends, right?
I just finished watching this movie. Yes...I said movie...not the clip. Management is a hilarious and extremely touching movie. Here's the spoiler... Get a box of kleenex out before you start watching. Jennifer Anniston is amazing in this movie. All of you women will know exactly what she is thinking by the look on her face. Awesome acting job Jennifer. Steve Zahn actually transforms during this movie. It's like real life....when you met someone you're not really attracted to and you get to know them they become attractive.
This movie is the bomb. The clip does not do it any justice. This movie is worth the time and the kleenex.
