Alex O'Loughlin

Perhaps it's that little twinkle in his eye or his sly smirk, but I've been crushing on O'Loughlin since The Back-Up Plan, and before that, the TV show Moonlight (hence why he's one of Buzz's favorite new breakout stars). Neither project exactly earned rave reviews, but luckily O'Loughlin has found a regular gig with staying power (and plenty of shirtless scenes) on Hawaii Five-0. The series is keeping the actor busy, but how about giving him a role as a blockbuster leading man in 2011?

I thought the same thing when I saw Inception. Another new-ish face I'm intrigued by is Ben Foster, who was in The Messenger and seems to be popping up more lately.
