• Another really great trailer was out this week too: Milk starring Sean Penn. I also was curious about this new movie starring Lindsay Lohan.
• I gave you a stern warning about the inappropriate levels reached in the red-band trailer for Zack and Miri Make a Porno but then implored you to check it out because it looks pretty funny.
• A lot of you were curious about my September book club selection. Look which soon-to-be-movie book I chose!

• Exciting remake news for once: a new Ghostbusters! And Guillermo del Toro will try his hand at Frankenstein, Slaughterhouse-Five, and Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
• Finally, I was so excited to share my interview with Alan Ball where he talked vampires — and even more excited to share with you my initial thoughts of his new HBO series True Blood after previewing the first two episodes.
