OK, yes, I know I was just talking about Gossip Girl. But forgive me for going back to the well so soon, because I can't let this day go by without telling you about the most awesome stunt casting/crossover idea I think I've ever heard: Blake Lively and Leighton Meester will guest-star on 30 Rock, playing high school classmates of Liz Lemon's in an episode where we find out Liz was actually a mean girl in high school.
No word on whether Blake and Leighton's characters will also be mean girls — or whether they'll be victims of Liz's nastiness. Either way, this just proves that 1) 30 Rock is awesome, and 2) these Gossip Girls (or their agents) are pretty savvy themselves.
But oh, the awesomeness doesn't end there. Since the episode revolves around Liz's high school reunion, we'll see adult versions of those two characters, too — and the producers are reportedly talking with Robyn Lively (yes, Blake's sister, of Teen Witch fame) about playing one of them. See? So fantastic!
So, here's a question: What actress should play the younger, meaner Liz Lemon?

7is it just me or would Leighton Meester be a great younger Tina Fey, especially since Liz Lemon used to be a mean girl.

Either way those episodes are gonna be geat and even though I don't watch 30 Rock, I would deff tune in.
Ellen Page would be good I think. She doesn't look like Tina Fey (except for the fact that they're both brunettes) but she would give the right attitude to the younger version of Liz.

10i think that it's kind of interesting how they are going to do that but ok. at least we know that the typical audience for the shows are different so it's not likely that we'll get overly confused with what NY school they go to and the sort.
30 rock is really pulling out all the stops this season with the guest appearances right? there are so many big/bigger names on the roster. i guess that's what happens when emmys are in the mix.

12They younger Liz Lemon should be played by..... Tina Fey herself! She could pull this off, I don't want to see another actress play liz. haha.
