OK, time for a true confession: Up until yesterday I completely thought these two actresses were the same person. I first noticed Nora Zehetner (on the right, in yellow) when she played the mind-manipulating Eden in the first season of Heroes, and then I later saw her again when I rented the awesome teen noir film Brick. I find her so adorable and charming onscreen, and she has a pretty unique look. Or so I thought. . .
When I went to see The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2, I was delighted to see Nora again, this time playing a really funny character, Lena's sister Effie. Except, uh, it's not actually Nora Zehetner. It's Lucy Hale. Same goes for that very cute girl playing the spoiled brat in the upcoming CW show Privileged. But I do think the resemblance is crazy.
I guess the good news is that I think this actress-who-is-actually-two-people is talented and fun to watch. Another recent example of this mixing-up is when I got my first quick glance at the actor in this Fall's new show The Mentalist and thought, "Oh, cool, Scott Speedman got his own show." But I'll totally take Simon Baker, too. Have you ever done this before?

that's kind of funny - but they do resemble each other so i can see how you would make that mistake. i've heard mixed reviews about Privileged, but i think that i'm still going to check it out and as a result i'll get to see this adorable girl!
1wow they do look exactly alike! And I have to confess I thought the girl on the left was Selena Gomez! haha
2I was surprised that someone was claiming that Michael Rady was Kostas from Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants as I'd seen the movie and had been so impressed with Alessandro Nivola--although I'd been puzzled at the time that he was playing so much younger than his actual age (I think Nivola is in his late 30s). I was even more surprised when I went to IMDB to confirm...and discovered that it was in fact Michael Rady.
3That's funny, i have a friend who insists that Karen Black and Jennifer Coolidge are the same person. No matter how much i argue with him and even try to explain one is in at least her 60's and the other is in probably her 40's it doesn't matter. It drives me crazy - No the woman who played the mom in house of 1,000 corpses DID NOT play Stifler's mom!!!!
4they look similar but not exactly the same. there are slight differences that you notice the longer you stare at them. by the time you've noticed those differences you'll probably be arrested and have a restraining order brought against you ): hehe
5Nora looks like Audrey Tautou, only not quite as pretty.
6the one on the right can totally play a younger version of Audrey Tatou in any role! or her little sister!

14I still have a hard time telling Amy Adams and Isla Fisher apart.... When I was watching The Office season 2, I had to double check who played Katie. I just wasn't sure!
15I always get Scott Speedman and Scott Caan mixed up. And Charlize Theron and Naomi Watts.
16I so thought that was Scott Speedman. There are certain ways he turns his head when he doesn't look like him, but I would always watch the commercial to try and figure out if it was actually him or not.

I was JUST looking at Vogue's Fashion Rocks issue and say the pic of Katy Perry and was like oh there is Zooey Deschanel. They look a lot a like in pics. I also, while I do not confuse them at all, think that Kherington from SYTYCD if she dyed her hair blonde would be a dead ringer for Jennifer Garner.

21They do look alike! I met Lucy Hale in Disneyland when she was there with the American Juniors back in 2003.
22When I saw the movie Prime I though Jon Abrahams was Scott Caan until I IMDB'd it.

24I always get Nora Zehetner confused with Ginnifer Goodwin, especially now that she has really short hair.
I also think that Carly Pope (from Popular) and Shannyn Sossamon (from A Knight's Tale) look a LOT alike. Keira Knightley and Natalie Portman have very similar features as well, especially when they were younger. Fun Fact: When Natalie played Queen Amidala in the first Star Wars prequel, Keira played the decoy handmaiden (this was before Keira was well-known).

28I made the same mistake with Scott Speedman and Simon Baker -- although I have to admit, my first thought upon seeing Simon Baker in The Devil Wears Prada was, "What HAPPENED to Ben Covington??" He's ruggedly handsome in his own right, but if you mistake him for Scott Speedman, he looks like Scott was beaten with a stick.

30Just finished watching an episode of 'The Mentalist' and couldn't help but say to myself "Man, that Speedman has really aged." How could someone that not ten years ago was playing someone younger than me in Felicity, now be convincingly playing someone older than me. Well, it turns out to make perfect sense: there is a six year age gap, so Speedman is younger than me, Baker is older, and both appear to be ageing at a normal rate.
31OMG. I just started to watch the season 1 of heroes this week, and i thought that nora zehetner was lucy hale. Until i realised that she somehow looked older than in prileged, which was not possible. So and googled, and discovered that i was in fact nora zehetner. But i have to admit that they really look alike.
