TV Guide has released its annual survey of what TV stars make, and once again, there are some pretty fascinating factoids inside. Last year, I just told you the salaries, but this year, I decided to up the ante and see how well you can guess the value of different TV actors and personalities.
For some context: The highest-paid person on this year's prime-time series list (which doesn't cover all stars by any means, but it's a pretty good sampling) is Charlie Sheen at $825,000 an episode, which includes money he gets from owning a stake in his show. In contrast, the lowest-paid person on that list is Jeffrey Donovan of Burn Notice at $55,000 per episode — just so you know the kind of dough we're talking about here.

Wow- I'm speechless at how much money these people make- wow, it's unbelievable- I work hard too! It's not like they are super smart or something, and not all of them are that skilled- e.g. Jennifer Love Hewitt? Anyone could act as "well" as her.
1I know, cmd0610! I can´t belive she makes more money than Steve Carell
2I agree! Steve Carrell should at least be paid the same as JLH - and Ellen Pompeo. He's much more talented than either of them.
3Well, "The Office" has a larger cast to pay than JLH's show and Grey's brings it more viewers hence more money to them. So, yeah, I can see why Steve's salary is lower. However, don't know if that $200,000 includes his writer's salary since he's a writer for the show as well.
4I am blown away by the $400,000 per Simpson's episode. They aren't even acting. They can do a week's work in one sitting... and they don't even have to memorize lines. Wow.
5Damn it! They get buckets of money in just one episode...
6I agree with you guys, Steve deserves a higher salary, honestly he is way more talented than Ellen Pompeo...the only thing she does is that "I sucked a lime" face of hers...
Poor Craig Ferguson
I think he's the funniest late night host.
Wow, Jennifer Love Hewitt makes more than Steve Carell??? I don't know one person who watches Ghost Whisperer.
Remember when each of the Friends stars made $1 million per episode? I didn't realize how much that was until I saw this quiz.
7Voice acting is still acting, and often times it's a lot harder than acting for stage or cameras because all you have to get emotion across is your voice, not your body movements, which no one can see, *and* they only know what the script says is happening; they couldn't get a bit of inspiration on how to deliver a line from the set.
