I'm shocked! I mean the winner was good but everyone has been saying Katee and Twitch. I would have been happy if it was 1 of those 2, even though I was totally rooting for Katee.

On the finale, I have a lot/hate relationship with them dancing the dances that were the judges favorites b/c you know that for the most part it's not going to be as amazing as the original. But I have to say the one Katee and Will danced again was almost and maybe better than the first time. I love seeing her dance.

So buzz do you think that they came up with the new rule because of Katee? That's the quiz question you should have put up

P.S. I loved the cirque du soleil dance.

I wanted Katee to win of the top 4 but I really wanted Will to win.

I'm pleased that Joshua won, but I truly thought Katee would take top honors; overall, I would be much happier if she had been second rather than third. Loved seeing Nigel dance and watching some of the best dances performed once again, even though they lacked some of that initial punch that made them so good. Overall, a great night to celebrate dance and some very talented young dancers.

Of Twitch and Joshua, I am glad it was Joshua. However, I felt that Katee and Joshua should have been the top two

I totally thought it was going to be Katee. I was shocked - SHOCKED - when she was eliminated second. With that said, I'm very happy Joshua won. I think he's a fabulous dancer and I loved his cute little personality. Twitch was great too and I would not have been disappointed if he won. I loved how excited he was for Joshua. That was really sweet.

Overall, a great season. Now we have to wait a whole year. Boo!

PS: don't you think next year they're going to switch the format so that there is one male AND one female winner?

I'm still watching it. I figured it would be Joshua and I'm glad for that. I really liked Courtney though. Oh well...

I'd have been really happy with any of the top four I think, and especially either of the boys... Twitch has such a tremendous personality and he was so awesome when Josh won. (Did you notice that he was one of the 2 guys who lifted Joshua onto his shoulders?) But I think Joshua is overall the stronger dancer and I was thrilled for him. I think all of them have outstanding dance careers ahead of them.

I was super happy that it was Joshua! I would have been happy with any of the top 4, probably but Joshua definitely deserved it.

Joshua is amazing and humble and was a great choice but I realllllly loved Katee. She was just amazing every time!

I was soooo happy that Joshua won. I was glad that Katee wasn't in the top 2. I know most everyone likes her but I felt like Twitch, Joshua and even Courtney progressed since the beginning of the show.

I am thrilled to pieces Joshua won. Yay!!!!! He was awesome all season and oh so cute.

I WAS SO HAPPY. I think Katee is a good dancer, but I've never been pulled in by her personality. I think Courtney is sunshine and Twitch is all personality (Midas Touch, anyone?), but I think Josh was really both sweet personality and a good dancer. Plus, I thought he had just gotten so much better every week. I never felt like anyone was dancing circles around him. I thought he was just so strong and good at all the dances thrown his way. His solos were fantastic. I thought this was one of the most entertaining finales we've had.

I was hoping for Katee and Josh in the top 2, but I definitely think Joshua deserved to win. He's done so great on the show for someone with little to no formal training, and he had a great personality. He never really had any "off" nights.

Even though I didn't like her, I think Katee should've won. She's a fantastic dancer. I also would've loved to see Twitch win. I was a bit disappointed with Joshua winning. I was never a fan, and I think Katee was just soooo much more talented than him.

The finale was awesome! I'm sad it's over, though.
Maybe I'll get tickets to the tour.

I'm so happy Josh won...between him and Twitch her obviously had more talent!! I too was disappointed with the fact that Katee wasn't in the top two...Twitch had more votes then her? For what?!

Personally, I did not enjoy this season at all.
I think I gave up on it after the top 8 was announced.

I am not surprised Joshua won at all. I called it. He was a chosen one, along with Katee and Will.

Unfortunately, the constant tongue baths by virtually everyone for those 3 turned me right off of them, and eventually, the show all together.

I was rooting for the underdogs this season (and by underdogs, I mean the ones who weren't praised to the high heavens by the judges). When I learned who was in the finale, I was hoping either Courtney or Twitch would win. I knew it wouldn't happen. But it was what I was hoping for.

But whatever. Its just a tv show. Good for Joshua. I'm sure TPTB are pleased.

I wanted Twitch to win, but Joshua was my 2nd pick so I was very happy it came down to the two of them! I was surprised that Katee was not in the final 2 though!! All the hype around her(very much like Sabra last season and have we seen any of her at all since then...NOPE!). I enjoyed the finale very much and thought it was great to see Mary Murphy and Nigel Lithgow dance!! I loved Nigel with all the tap dancing kids! Last season I was disappointed Lacey was cut at the end and that danny wasn't the winner. Sabra did nothing for me. So, for one of my faves to win this season was a treat!!

Between Twitch, Joshua and Katee, I didn't really care who won. They all had their own qualities and any one of them could be America's favorite dancer.

Last night's show was awesome! I LIVE for SYTYCD, and this finale exceeded all expectations! (And it was infinitely better than last season's finale.) I can't wait to read your recap, Buzz!

of the choices - i would have been happy with either joshua or katee so i'm content with how america voted. i also think that chelsie should have made it to the final four - but i'm not sure if it would have made a difference

i think that it's nice that katee got her own added prize to being the top girl though - that was a nice twist in the results.

I was good with Joshua winning, I think that he had great performances all the way through the season. I was fully happy with the entire top 6 personally, so any of them would have been okay with me, I was surprised that Katee wasn't final 2. I kind of think they may have created the new rule with a girl and boy winner because they were surprised she didn't win. I thought Courtney handled it so well when she was told she was the first to go, but then again I think she knew it already.

Katee hands down --- but can you see Katee with a walk on part in Step Up 3D - this poop is rigged. I'll keep watching though. I love this show.

i'm really happy with the results. I would have also been really glad if twitch or Katee won. But Josh was such a cutie!!!! but so was twitch! nd i love Katee! I wish they all won!! sux how twitch didnt get a prize tho.. i think courtney was good too, but 4th was rigth.
