- It's been an interesting week for movie releases with two big Summer films opening on Wednesday instead of Friday. I loved both Pineapple Express and The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 — which one are you going to see?

- So, NME highlighted a bunch of the bands that are making America cool again. I didn't realize we were that uncool to begin with! But anyway, are any of these bands worth camping out for?
- I'm glad American Teen is getting some attention right now because I saw it at Sundance and thought the world of it. This week I posted my chat with the film's director; it's interesting to hear her thoughts on teens today.
- While we're on the topic of teenagers: Greek is getting a special guest appearance from Lauren Conrad, and the CW loaded up a few more 90210 promos and pics for us to see. Oh! And I got to interview Nat, you know, owner of the Peach Pit.
- In other interview news, I chatted for a while with Freddy Rodriguez, all about Team Gio and Rodriguez's role in the indie wine movie, Bottle Shock.
- If you like Ben Folds and/or Regina Spektor as much as I do, you might dig this sweet duet of theirs.
- The first clip from Clint Eastwood's movie The Changeling starring Angelina Jolie came out this week, and I was also intrigued by the trailer for Winged Creatures.
