I do remember seeing Batman Begins and finding Christian Bale's voice as Batman REALLY distracting/somewhat comical. I didn't have the same issue in the sequel. Maybe I was just used to it.
1Wow the AP was grasping at straws there. I mean, seriously? The simplest answer to the question was "TO DISGUISE HIS VOICE, YOU IDIOTS!" It made total sense, no matter how much it annoys anyone. At least he didn't pop on a pair of crappy glasses and call it a disguise.
