I was delighted to read that "Dog the Bounty Hunter" — A&E's addictive reality show about a bounty hunter named Dog and his impossibly large-bosomed wife — will return for its fourth season on April 10. One of my favorite guilty pleasures, this show might be described as a modern-day white-trash superhero tale set in Hawaii. Spend a few hours with ex-con biker Duane "Dog" Chapman and his captivating clan, and you'll learn more about the bail bonds business than you ever thought possible.

Last year, Dog, his son Leland, and his cohort Tim got into some trouble in Mexico after apprehending a famed fugitive named Andrew Luster. So we'll get to see that drama unfold in Season 4, as well as the usual crime-fighting subplots. Anyway, I'm really curious to know if anyone else watches this show, so I'm devoting the latest Defend This to "Dog the Bounty Hunter." Do you find this show addictive, entertaining, or even educational? If so, tell me below. Now, on your marks, get set, defend!

The few times I have seen this show it was pretty entertaining, I must admit.
1I LOVE this show! I was visiting my grandmother a couple years ago and she got me turned on to it. Dog is a very wise man. Kinda "crazy" wise, but wise none the less. During every episode he goes from hatred for the bounty, then trying to help them change their lives. Kindof like a cooler, funnier "Walker Texas Ranger" but with a mullett. And Leather. Oh, and a heavy metal soundtrack. I cant wait for the new season!!
2"No Ice in Paradise"
I am so embarrassed, but I must admit that I LOVE this show. I never turn it when I see it's on, it's so impossibly addictive. I love watching it. It's totally unlike anything else that I watch, it's like COPS with a longer storyline. I want to hate it, but I just can't.
3You gotta love the God, er, i mean, the Dog.
4Love it! I've been tuned into this show since the 2nd season and it just gets better. It's entertaining, thoughtful and inspiring. It's such a rarity to see a character (real or otherwise) that cares about humanity and is actively trying to make the world a better place.
“Born on a mountain, raised in a cave, hunting fugitives is what I crave!” Dog Chapman
5I know lots of people that love this show! There's just something about it that pulls you in! I can't wait for another season and I hope everything turns out well for them...
6Although I have to admit, BuzzSugar, that I'm with you about his impossibly large-bosomed wife! I spent time every show thinking - how? why? and look at her go!
7Ohmigod i LOVE Dog. And his wife, they are SO PWT. There's just WAY too much hair between the 2 of them. I love how he turns each capture into a little life lesson, too.
8Love the show. I've only seen it a handful of times, but it's fascinating.
9I'm not too much into reality tv, but the few times I've had to watch this (think co-workers having the remote control, lol) it was pretty good. And I'm for anyone bringing people in for justice!
10I LOOOVE this show! and I think part of the appeal is the dynamic between the three of them
11I love this show and I think Dog is a good guy, even if he and Beth have unfortunate fashion tastes. (They really are good people!)
Style Before Comfort!
12Oh buzz thank god you wrote this! I have been really embarassed to admit that I watch it (not so much anymore, I went through this really wild addiction and kinda got dogged-out). Every episode is like a train wreck and you always wonder how why, how?!? and I also love that they turn it into a motivational speaking sort of thing at the end. oh man, what a show.
13I'm from Hawaii, so I have a bit of a different perspective on the show. I love the show, and think it's highly entertaining and at the same time I don't like the show because of the way it portrays Hawaii and it's people. Although the show does bring the entertainment industry here, I feel sometimes the people being "hunted down" are made out to seem much worse than they really are for TV's purposes.
I feel that Dog and his crew are doing the best they can to keep Hawaii safe, and I'm behind him 100% when it comes to his trial with the Mexican government. My friends and I have driven past "da kine dail bonds" many times in hopes of catching a glimpse of our heroes.
oh and I think the real star of the show is Dog's son Leland. What a hottie!
14I love this show! I can't stand what they wear but they are fun to watch.
15i love DOG! i have family in hawaii, and i really like the personal side that they have to the show. it's not all about their job, they also bring their daily life into it as well.
16i LOVE this show and am behind them 100% with this Andrew Luster/Mexico thing. Luster s worst than trash and am so glad that Dog and his crew got him. I love watching it for many reasons including glimpses of Oahu (and other parts of Hawai'i). It is easy to forget whn you visit the islands that people live there and everything is not perfect. i think it is nice that it shows both sides. Love it!!
17My boyfriend turned me on to this show and i must admit i love it!My favorite catch phrase ever is when his wife was taunting this meth addict and she says "Ice head ice head lala" Soo funny!
18love it love it love it! can't wait for season 4!

25Any man that could catch Luster(Evil Man) and get him back to the US so we could put him away

This show should never go off the air
It gives honest people faith
The respect that they give to the men and women that he does arrest. Thank You and I rest my case
