At the TCA press tour, Showtime announced that the network is developing a spinoff of The L Word that would continue one woman's story after the show's final season airs. But nobody would say which character was being considered for the spinoff (they said not even the actress knows yet), and you know what that means: Time for some Internet speculation!
Just a few days ago, we got word that Elizabeth Berkley is joining the cast as an old love interest of Bette's — so would that give Bette more story to carry over into a spinoff? Or would another one of the ladies be a better choice? Cast your vote now!

I can not stand Jenny. Anyone but Jenny!
1I quit watching the show. It got too ridiculous. Anyone still watch this?
2Hot Shane!
3i think Alica has the potential to be a very interesting spin-off, with her new gig as a TV host trying to "out" celebs, her chart thingy, moving to LA, love triangles, etc... it could be like the lesbian version of Dirt. lol.
4opps *ALICE
5I love Shane and I think she would give the most drama for a show but I dont know if I could watch a show where all she does it get really close to someone, fall in love and then leave them at the last minute.
A show about Tasha would be interesting but now that shes out of the military Im not sure where they would take it. Jenny has been the most irritating character this season, I dont know what is going on with her.
So basically I have no idea who should get a show. But I hope its good.
6I feel like it would be more interesting if they spun off one of the newer/smaller characters since the show already centers around Shane/Alice/Jenny/Bette/Tina.
7If it's not Bette, it'll be Jenny or Shane. Maybe even Alice.
8Bella, I knew you'd want Shane. That's who I voted for too!
9Shane ♥ She's hot...
10i love shane.. she's incredibly sexy, but i agree with taadie... my heart completely broke when she left carmen at the alter and it has never really healed. plus, a shane spin-off means she won't end up happily ever after with carmen
but, i think shane has so much potential to keep growing and evolving, and i want to see her journey. if there was a show devoted to shane, i will no doubt watch. she is my favorite character and i think kate moennig is a wonderful actress
11I think it will be Bette.
I want it to be Alice.
I would like to kick Jenny in the face.
12Also, I hope whatever the show is, it's written and produced by someone other than Ilene chalkin. If they're going to continue with one character, they need a fresh (non-crazy)perspective. If Jenny is really based on Chalkin I could seriously do without her.
13I would totally get gay with Shane.
14Anybody but Jenny '09!!!
Um, I hope the spin off is better than the original. It's gotten stupid lately; what with the "plot" revolving around soft-core porn, the ever irritating Jenny and the totally unrealistic portrayal of gays in the military courtesy of Tasha.
I know I'm late but I'm going to say Bette and Tina now that I have seen the final Episode and they are suppose to be moving to NYC. I don't see it being a chance that they could take any of the Characters in LA without it still being the L Word
Although I wish it would be Tasha since Showtime lacks a show where a women of color ( any color) is at the helm!
