- Talk about a whirlwind week! Comic-Con is so much fun and I'm getting the scoops on some of the year's most anticipated TV shows and movies. You can see a rundown (with pics!) of my first day at the massive conference, read about how exciting it was to get a surprise appearance by Mr. Wolverine himself, Hugh Jackman, and see what interesting insights came out of a panel moderated by Kevin Smith. More to come, so stay tuned. . .
- Speaking of superheroes, who's ready for Heroes to come back to TV already?! Here's a sneak peek at what's coming next.
- There was still plenty to report on from the TCA press tour, too, including the goods on the new Office spin-off, info on the new season of Chuck, and a set visit to ER.
- It wasn't all conference-hopping jubilation this week, though, and I was extremely sad to report that Estelle Getty, best known as Sofia on the Golden Girls, passed away. Lifetime paid tribute by running a Sofia-centric marathon of the show on Friday.
- Ugh — So You Think You Can Dance had a terrible elimination this week which is sad, given how good the show was the night before.
- In really scary news this week — I'm not kidding — they're remaking Rocky Horror Picture Show. Oh, and check out the trailer for Matthew McConaughey's new movie Surfer Dude. It's scary in a different way.
- Have you seen my video of the audition line at the American Idol tryouts? It's pretty entertaining. I also interviewed Mr. Season One himself, Justin Guarini.

Have enjoyed reading about Comic-Con and TCA, Buzz. What a whirlwind of a week! Thanks for all of the great updates and postings. So unhappy with the results of SYTYCD and so saddened by the death of Estelle Getty.
1What's going on with Lost at Comic Con? Have you seen teh Dharma reqruiters around?
2Renee3 — I have seen the Dharma recruiters and I went to the panel today. There was not a ton of juicy info that came out of the panel, unfortunately. A lot of hinting, no footage (which makes sense, since they haven't started shooting yet), and a lot of evading questions. I will put up a full post on the panel soon.
Also, as far as I know, the Dharma recruitment stuff was largely for a gimmick they did onstage, though we did get a tiny bit of interesting stuff from it. Also, I think the Dharma recruitment website (questionnaire thingy, I think?) will be live starting Monday, so everyone can see what's up with that then. I guess.
3Lost is always to secretive! haha thanks though!
4Did you go to the Twilight panel? I heard the reception was awesome! You really need to read the books! Maybe Twilight could be your next book club selection?
