When I think of David Cross I think "ooh, funny!" (actually I think "never-nude" but that's for another conversation). When I think of Michael Vartan I think first "hot" and then "Vaughn," but never "funny!" And yet, these two will be paired up for the comedy Demoted. The Hollywood Reporter has more details:
Vartan will play Rodney McAdams, a hotshot Treadline Tires sales associate who delights in tormenting his less-than-cool colleague, Ken (Cross). But when their boss suddenly dies, Ken is promoted and assigns Rodney to a secretarial job as payback, giving the male chauvinist a taste of his own medicine.
I love to see Cross getting more work. And though these two seem strange together, maybe they'll have a great funny man/straight man thing going on. What do you think?

1Hahaha, never nude! Now I've got a disturbing blue jean cutoffs image in my mind. Vartan was pretty funny on that one ep of Kitchen Confidential, playing a French chef.
2I'll see it for Cross's comedy and Vartan's utter hotness and charm.
3i am all about any arrested development alum project. i hope it is funny, and michael varten's good looks can't hurt.

6Michael Vartan (Vaughn!) Is always a delight and Cross is funny so it may be a good show.
7The more Vartan the better, I miss seeing him on the TV screen but I still think my favorite role is when he played Mr. Coulson in Never been Kissed.
8Oops I wish I could've edited my post...I realize this isn't a TV show, but I would be happy to see Vartan in any medium (movies, TV, etc.) and David Cross is hilarious too.
9Well hello!!!!! Where have I been? Thanks to Sofi for letting me know this post was up. Basically I'll see anything with Micheal Vartan in it, although at times Big Shots was excruciating except for his scenes. He was incredible in Alias, man, I miss that show.
I'm just thrilled that he has another project in the works - he is one of those unused actors, I think he needs to get a new agent!

10I love Vartan and will watch anything with him. Big Shots was so bad I was thankful when it was canceled so he could move on to something else. I hope this is good. Although I'd rather see him in something more like Alias...I love the butt kicking.

12Michael Vartan is very attractive but I don't really like him as an actor, I don't think he's very good. I only liked him in "Never been kissed" and everywhere else I found him blah.
