Yay for Secret Life! You can tell it's a new show with a few kinks to be worked out, but it's really good!
1Lots of interesting reading here. Cheadle's project is intriguing and the LA Times article raises some good points about viewers, critics and the Emmys.
2If the nominations were based on what people watch, the best shows would be even more likely to get ignored. And I'm excited to see the new Wes Anderson movie especially with Jarvis Cocker doing music for it.
3I'd rather see the shows that really deserve them get noms and then audiences because there were so many shows that were/are consistently snubbed for all categories (Gilmore Girls, Buffy, Veronica Mars and Friday Night Lights are all often cited) but were always cited for being high-quality shows.
4I actually sat down and watched an episode of the Secret Life blah blah (the title is just too damn long) and it was really generic with no great twists. I feel like just because 7th Heaven is finally over they need to make some sort of substitute. I think the world is over anything 7th Heaven-like.
5Another Will Ferrell movie? Bleh, his movies have been the same for years and not really all that good.
6Secret life of the american teenager was a lame show. I agree with Mariellynelly, the show is generic and 7th Heaveny. I wouldn't watch it again, I really didn't like it.
Which episode did you guys watch. The first episode was not-so-great, but it has gotten a lot better with each passing episode.
