Does the Body of Lies trailer come with the scent of Oscar noms, or am I getting ahead of myself here? Nobody knows just yet, but with heavy-hitting stars like Leo and Russell Crowe and the dark intensity that director Ridley Scott brings to all his projects, we may be looking at a future critical darling here. Then again, I thought Scott's American Gangster would do way better at the Oscars than it did, so maybe I should just stop with the predictions for a while.
In Body of Lies, which is based on a novel by David Ignatius, "a former journalist injured in the Iraq war is hired by the CIA to track down an Al Qaeda leader in Jordan." The new trailer features things like furrowed brows and pounding music. I will be very curious to catch this when it opens in theaters October 10. Wow, this movie looks intense! Of course, I am partial to Leo, so may not be the best to ask, but I do agree with you Buzz - I'm seeing Oscar noms here!
1Looks awesome! I love both these guys!
2Another winner for Lea. Cat wait until Oct.
3Buzz, I think your Oscar prediction is right. This looks like a winner to me.
4The movie looks really good, but the accents each actor decided to adopt for their respective characters really bug me.
5I can't wait, I live for Oscar season! But I fear it'll get snubbed just like AG last year, though.
6I'm curious why they went all techno with the trailer...?
Leo is finally looking like a man and not a boy. Yum!
7Looking good. Is it just me or Leo is wearing dark contact lenses in this movie? His eyes look darker and definitely not blue. I like it!!!
8This looks very good, indeed. I've been pretty impressed with Leo's acting the last few years.
9Of course I luv Leo and undoubtedly will see the movie, but jeez I am tired of all the Middle East movies
10not a fan of Ridley Scott, oh dear.
