Though the movie doesn't come out for two more months, the trailer for Georgia Rule, starring Lindsay Lohan, just hit the Internet. Lohan plays an uncontrollable teenager (okay, not the biggest stretch) whose mother (Felicity Huffman) sends her to live with her grandmother (Jane Fonda) in a Mormon Idaho town. Hmm... maybe that's what Dina should have done.

After all that craziness with producer James Robinson writing a letter reprimanding Lohan for her terrible work ethic and partying ways, I kind of expected this project to turn into a disaster. Turns out, Lohan was just getting into character. I might actually see this film, mostly because Jane Fonda is awesome. Check out the trailer and tell me what you think when you read more

I saw the trailer on E! and I must say I'm slightly intrigued, even though my love for LL is almost completely down the tubes...
1I'm definetly gonna see! even if lindsay has a intresting personal life, i still think she's a great actress.
2Its nothing personal against LL but judging from the trailer I dont think she is going to be very good. I feel like this is a typical role for her and she doesnt really have to act for it. I dont know what actress would have been better suited but I just dont think this is a good role for her.
I also feel like I have seen this type of plot line before.
3Oh yeah- cant LL change up her look for a movie? This is how she looks everyday. It would be nice to see her really get into character and mix things up a bit
4i don't think there was much Lindsay could have done to her apperance for this film. Her hair matchs felicitys and janes and her figure is about the same as there to.
5I agree with JessNess, typical role for her. Looks more like an after school special than a major movie.
6Huh. This wasn't what I expected of the movie at all. I thought it'd be a sort of gritty drama. This just SCREAMS chick flick.
7Yeah I thought that too Whip, the way Lindsay talks about trying to take more challenging roles, I certainly wasn't expecting, like you said, a chick flick. I'm sure I'll end up seeing it a some point, my best friend's sister loves Lindsay, but I won't be first in line at the cinema queue.
8Lindsay does not look good in this trailer. She comes off as flat and colorless. I will wait for this one to come out on DVD.
9I think the Jane Fonda/Felicity Huffman aspect is interesting enough to go and see the movie
10I totally thought it was some hard hitting movie about an out of control teen girl, but this looks pretty damn sappy to me.
11& We all recognize the rowboat scene!
I want to see this, I hope Lindsay does well.
12I agree Whiplashgirl - having Lindsay Lohan in the movie just makes it look like a chick flick.
13I'm strangely intrigued. I ain't gonna lie...I'll go see it.
14I think the movie looks entertaining. Isn't it more up to the people making the movie to decide the look an actress has? I assume actors can do some things they think fall into the character, but the overall decision is probably not theirs.

i think it looks cute, but definately one to just see on dvd.. im a big fan of jane fonda and maybe lindsay will do something unique in this one.. it just reminds me of freaky friday or something without the voodoo
16From the trailer, I like what I see of Jane Fonda. Definitely a movie that I'll see, but probably on DVD.
17this movie doesnt look that bad. i might actually go see it.

18it looks cute

Cant wait till it comes out! It looks good and def a different kind of role for LL
20it does look kinda cool but i dont know if i can bare the thought of seeing a movie with LL in it. UGH i cant stand her. she looks good in the movie though - yuck yuck, i had to say it even though it pains me
21It looks like it'll be entertaining. Not something we haven't ever seen before or anything but i like chick flicks.
22Although this role doesn't seem like much of a stretch for LL, I've gotta remind you guys of her role in A Prairie Home Companion. Although it didn't do too well at the box office, Lindsay was really great in it. This does look like a bit of a "Chick Flick" if you will, but I think it's going to be a quality one at least. And can we discuss the HOT guy that plays Lohan's love interest? Mm, mm, mmmmm!
Whatever the reviews, you'll see me at the movie theater opening weekend - I love me some Lohan!
23yes! totally seeing it!

24Although she generates negative publicity about her, and her morals are slowly heading down the toilet, I love to watch her movies. I will most definitly see this.
