"I think you're so blinded by inconsolable rage that you don't care who you hurt. When you can't tell your friends from your enemies, it's time to go." — M (Judi Dench)
The James Bond in this latest installment seems darker, wearier, and more grizzled than we've seen him. The brand-new trailer for Quantum of Solace, the next Bond movie due to hit theaters November 7, is totally intriguing. It's slow to rev up, with allusions to how rage-filled Bond is now, and only uses the signature horn-blasting 007 theme music toward the very end. There's something somber and very dark about the atmosphere of this movie, and while watching it I can't help but think of all the trouble this production has had.
I am insanely anxious to see the full movie and it's strangely relieving to see Daniel Craig's Bond back in action. I've missed him! Are you as psyched as I am for Quantum of Solace? To check out the trailer, read more.

I love that they're getting back to the original direction of the Bond series by getting "personal" with his character. They're getting deeper and more intimate than they ever have before lately and forgoing much of the flashy special effects. I hope this doesn't deter other current fans of the series, because the way I see it, you can get the crazy special effects on pretty much any Hollywood film these days. I welcome the chance to develop even more of a "bond" with the 007 series this way.
1I haven't seen the first Daniel Craig Bond film, but this trailer makes me want to get caught up before the premiere. it reminds me of what I loved about the Bourne trilogy and Wanted. Bond has a purpose of his own...revenge is great!
2Oh, I can't wait until November 7th!!!
3I do love Daniel Craig's Bond. Looking forward to seeing him--and Judi Dench--on screen again.
4I agree with everything freegracefrom said. I love the direction they're taking 007.
5I like Daniel Craig, but am not a HUGE fan of him as Bond. There's just something not right about it in my mind. But I'll see this anyway for one reason only. Aston Martin.
6I will definitely be there opening night! I never went to see Casino Royale at the theater because I was so turned off by Brosnan's cheesy Bond..but after watching it on DVD, WOW! I loved the movie and loved Craig's Bond! Not to mention, how stunning are his eyes?? sigh:)
7Daniel Craig could not be more amazing. Sigh.
And I'm also so relieved that people are now so excited to see him as Bond and that he shut up all that nasty crap-talking that went on about him before Casino Royale was released. Daniel Craig FTW!
8I didn't think the day would come, but yes, I am indeed excited about the new Bond movie. Daniel Craig did a great job in Casino Royale.
9I love Daniel Craig as Bond. He's great! Can't wait for this!
10I am insanely excited to see this! Daniel Craig did an amazing job the first time around and I have a feeling he'll even better the second time.
Also? I love how much screen time they're giving Judi Dench's M! It's insane how well those two meshed on-screen in Casino Royale...so I'm hoping we see more scenes of them together in this!
11Oh how I love Daniel Craig! it is great to see him back as Bond! I never particular like Eva as Vesper, but I do like seeing Bond going all vengeful, even if he's denying it.
12Uuuh Jesper Christensen!
And this looks awesome! I´ve never been a fan of the Bond movies since Daniel Craig took the part. He is perfect!
13BTW the plot reminds me of Prison Break
14Daniel Craig is excellent as Bond, and once again this looks like something to be excited for.
15Oh, Daniel. [swoon]
16Exciting! The movie comes out the weekend of my 18th birthday =]
