One of TV Guide scoop king Michael Ausiello's friends-in-high-places has nabbed a copy of the script for the potential "Grey's Anatomy" spinoff. And it answers the question of where Addison's going: not back to New York, but to Los Angeles!
His sources also spill a few details from the script:
- Plastic surgery, psychiatry, and neonatology — three great tastes that taste great together? — all play prominent roles.
- One scene from the pilot involves "a pampered Beverly Hills princess contemplating a chemical peel with her hot plastic surgeon."
So, who's the hot plastic surgeon — Taye Diggs or Tim Daly?
Honestly, I'm waiting for the day when they're going to announce this whole spinoff thing has just been a big joke. Given that "Nip/Tuck" is also heading to LA, I have to assume the next announcement will involve a collaboration between Addison and Dr. Christian Troy.

If Tim Daly is on this show, does this mean The Nine is cancelled?
1Hey SanD, ABC hasn't said anything for sure about The Nine, but most of the actors from it are filming new pilots right now.
2Boo! for the spin off...i still think they should keep them all together, but that doesnt mean anything i will prolly still watch the spin off too!
3The plastic surgeon could be McSteamy....he and Addison seemed to be contemplating their futures...maybe he's headed to LA with her!

7I hate to name drop, but Taye Diggs is my boyfriends friend. We all hung out the other day for my boyfriends birthday and had a blast. He is very nice. I hope this show is a hit when it comes to t.v. He needs another good role. The funny thing is in Gray's Anatomy, Isiah Washington is also my fathers neighbor, hahahahaha. That's what happens when you've grown up in Hollywood. They are both great guys. I am happy for their success.

15Hope Grey's isn't diminished by the new show. Like others, I'm a hesitant to embrace this move. Maybe it won't happen and Addy will stay put.
