In a recent interview with E!'s Ben Lyons, Anne Hathaway said she'd "love to work with everyone again" on a sequel to The Devil Wears Prada. Sequels are certainly all the rage lately, and while some turn out well, sometimes they simply don't make sense and shouldn't be made.

Would you want to see a sequel to The Devil Wears Prada? And if so, what storylines would you like to see in a second movie? Even Hathaway is puzzled as to how a sequel would work, story-wise, so what would you suggest?

What is the point of a sequel to this movie?
No way, it could never be as good!
A sequel is just silly, no way
I don't think it would be as good as the original, but adding a sequel wouldn't diminish the value of the original so why not? This is one of my FAVORITE movies, I mean TOP TWO - when I've had an awful day at work I come home & watch it.
i hated the book, hated the movie so ....no
theres no need
a sequel wouldn't make sense b/c she left the industry...however i would love to see a movie version of her other book Everyone Worth Knowing I'm sure that would be entertaining!
I loved this movie but a sequel would be kind of dumb.
Too many movies get unnecessary sequels. I can't give an opinion about this specific movie because I never saw it and it's kind of one of those movies I don't really want to see because people go on and on about it but generally I think it's ridiculous to come out with a sequel for a lot the movies that get them. In some cases it works, but a lot of times it's a waste to bother with one.
The only point in making a sequel would be to make more money. So they probably will make one, which is unfortunate because the movie was great.
I loved the movie but it doesn't make sense to have a sequel
It's bad enough that they didn't follow the book's ending.
I didn't like this movie, so no.
I loved this movie but a sequel doesnt make sense
NOOOOO. Don't get me wrong, The Devil Wears Prada was my favorite movie of 2006 but there does not need to be a sequel. It ended perfectly.
the movie was fine it was totally prdictable and not really unique but it was watchable and I love Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway so I watched it. I would not want to see a sequel because it would be pointless
I liked the book but hated the movie so no thanks.
i can't imagine what else there would be to do in a sequel. the main character is a newspaper journalist, and well...that's about it. i do'nt know - unless it was something really thrilling and riveting, i can't say that i'd want to see it.
Oh god, that movie killed the book! That book was so amazing and the movie just did not even begin to do it justice.
I agree, Kalliefornia. They didn't make Miranda HALF as ghastly as she was in the book. But I'm sure it's because the movie makers were terrified of Anna Wintour.
I don't think a sequel is necessary, I don't what they could add to the original movie. I think The Devil Wears Prada was a good movie, but not necessarily GREAT. I agree with fleurfairy and Kalliefornia, they should have made it a ltitle closer to the book and made Miranda a little more evil.
I don't see what else they could do with it.
Leave it as it is.
I'm still disappointed that they turned the do-good teacher boyfriend into a sous chef, Miranda wasn't that bad, AND they took away the big f*** you from Andie to Miranda at the end. I was especially looking forward to that!
If EVERYONE from the original were in it, though I don't know WHAT they would do for a storyline, I'd LOVE to see all that fashion - that means, PURSES!!!! again. Meryl Streep looked so good!
no!
yes i want to see more...plus it wont hurt anyone but the ones making it hehe...i mean if the second one is bad we always can watch the first one again
Not necessary.
it's okay by me, if the sequel's good.
Never read the book, not really interested. I thought the movie was ok but not fantastic. So I wouldn't be interested in a sequel, especially as the film seemed pretty wrapped up.
stop with the sequels already
Ugh one was already too much.
NO! I enjoyed the first one, but what will the second one be?
Andi with Nate, eating grilled cheese sandwiches?! No thanks.
if they made a sequel where Anne Hathaway went back to work for Meryl Streep, I would weep. I think all sequels should be banned.
I don't think the sequel could add anything to the movie...it would just take away
"If it ain't broke, don't fix it!"
I loved the first movie, however, a sequel wouldn't makes sense at all because any reason they gave for Andy to come back into the industry would be not good enough.
I wouldn't like to see a sequel per se... I would watch a movie about Emilly because she stole the movie in my eyes.
There is no storyline for a sequel! Why should they tarnish the character of the movie like that when it has gotten such rave reviews? I don't think that a lot of people who saw and loved Devil Wears Prada would go out and see it, so idk how it could be for the money.
i love love love the devil wears prada movie!!!! it would be interesting to see a sequel, hope they pull it off some time, i'll be super excited!!
i'm so happy to watch that movie!!!!
