This was a great show. I am so happy In the Heights won. He is amazing and so is the musical. The RENT tribute was my absolute favorite part though, I have to be biased to my favorite musical. Though there could have been a little more life in La Vie Boheme.
So happy for In the Heights, but I'm sad it will be impossible for me to get tickets now.
Patrick Stewart was robbed - his Macbeth was amazing.
I loved the show last night, and seeing the two casts of Rent together was emotional but amazing.
I'm wondering why the actors in Rent still have to wear the 1990's clothes and hair. Can't they update it?
im so happy for in the heights!, i want to watch so badly! there's no way im getting tickets now:( oh and the rent part was awesome too!
We're heading to NYC in September with tickets in hand for In the Heights AND South Pacific. Cannot wait!
fleurfairy, the point of RENT is that it takes place in the early 90s . . . why would you ever update it?
For those of you heading to or living in NYC, Passing Strange was so, so good. A lot of people prefer it to In The Heights, so check it out if you can!
Delighted for Jim Norton in The Seafarer. And what a gracious acceptance speech
I was so happy that Patti Lupone won leading actress along w/ her Gypsy cast members. I was sad to see Sunday in the Park with George didn't win anything though
And where was Stephen Sondheim??!?!?!
