Happy Father's Day, everyone! In honor of the day, I want to hear about your favorite entertainment options for when you want to do a little bonding with your dad.
This might seem a little twisted, but my dad and I both love the movie Fargo, and the quirky, dark comedy is one of our staples. We also love cheering for favorite teams on the high-energy reality show The Amazing Race. And for the perfect dose of macho drama, nothing beats The Sopranos.
When you and your dad are jonesing for some entertainment, where do you turn?

his favs - Dumb & Dumber, It's A Wonderful Life, Jesus of Nazareth, The Passion, Combat and Jerico - I know, wierd combo...
1We both love Survior and the Price is Right but I can't think of any movies that we have in common.
2we watched signs together when i was twelve and i was scared as hell!
3embarrassing, lol
I grew up watching every Clint Eastwood and John Wayne western with my dad. We still constantly quote "The Outlaw Josey Wales" to one another. We also watched his favorite comedy, Happy Gilmore, together all the time.
Other than that, it was always sports. He's not much of a sitcom or drama guy.
4My dad is obsessed with The Hunt for Red October.
5TV Series, "The Jeffersons", "Seinfeld" and "The Simpsons." As to movies... Well, he and I have constant trivia battles over who knows more about actors and music, so we always have something to talk about.
I love my daddy so much
6My dad made me into a total movie girl. We watched Star Wars and Indiana Jones as I was growing up... and we watched a lot of war movies, action movies... and started going through the AFI top 100 best movies.... it was cool when it was old movies like the Apartment and Hitchcock movies - weird when it was The Clockwork Orange... ha!
7TV: We watch episodes of ER together and important guests on David Letterman. About once a month we spend the weekend just sitting on the couch to watch our favorites. In movies, my dad really likes Tom Hanks' work, so we watch movies like Forrest Gump and just saw Charlie Wilson's War in the theatre.
8Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, and Firefly. We're big Joss Whedon fans.
9My dad loves movies and the older the better. I watched 'It Happened One Night With Him' the first time I saw it and 'An Affair To Remember', 'Stormy Weather', 'Gone With The Wind'. My dad really likes Ugly Betty and I watch that with him when I visit. The last movie we saw together was 'The Valet' and he was dying laughing. I really got my love of films from him.
10We watch The Simpsons and Futurama together. Sometimes Family Guy, too. This fits perfectly because when I was little, we used to watch Saturday morning cartoons together.
11The Star Wars films and Family Guy are the staples of our television watching time together Dad's also a big fan of comic book related films, so we usually check out those.
12LOST!
13We watch absolutely nothing together because our interests are so different from one another. He is more of a sports lover, while I'm more into watching Old films. We don't even watch t.v. shows together because of the difference we share.
14We watch a lot together! Including stuff the other would never watch, like my dad will watch Lifetime movies with me, it's so funny. We try to guess from turning one on in the middle what kind it is - cheating husband, abusive husband, femme fatale, teen pregnancy, etc. We just saw Prince Caspian tonight.
15oohh.. I saw Fargo with my father! Dad has a strange and eclectic sense of film and television and likes some of the off-beat things.
16We devotedly watched Six Feet Under together for years. He also turned me onto Weeds!
I watch almost everything with my dad except raunchy comedies and really cheesy romantic movies.
17We love watching Monk, Sopranos, and SNL together. But our all-time favorite is SEINFELD!!
18I used to watch Miami Vice with my dad.
19Movies:
- Any film by The Coen Brothers
- Any Adam Sandler film or production

)
20- Curb Your Enthusiasm

- The History Channel
- Take Home Chef (he watches for the food, I watch for the chef
When I lived at home we'd get up early for Earthworm Jim and Pinky & the Brain.
21The only still running show we watch is The Simpsons.
22Home Alone!!
23He still calls me every time he sees he on TV.
we watch reality contests, like "the biggest loser" and "so you think you can dance". it's great and gives us time to bond.
24Nothing, me and my dad don't watch tv together! Maybe football but no often!
25Ha, our two movies are Galaxy Quest, and She's all That. He used to watch Buffy with me.
26And my dad is the type of person to hate something just because i like it!
27Caddyshack is my dad's all-time favorite movie, and I love hearing his gleeful laughter even when he knows what's coming. I also like watching submarine movies with him because he'll always comment on which parts are realistic and which details are off. As far as TV goes, besides sports, he's recently discovered Family Guy, which I also love.
28i'm all grown up now, but it was Stalone movies and Alien movies
