In the midst of the Top Chef finale last night, Bravo slipped in a little gift for Project Runway fans: a premiere date for the sooner-than-planned season five. July 16 is the day the newest crop of fashion wannabes will start cutting and draping their way toward success.
One change from previous seasons, though: Instead of airing at 10 p.m., Runway will now air at 9. That's because Shear Genius will be taking the 10 p.m. spot starting in two weeks, right after next week's Top Chef reunion. It's going to be strange to have two of Bravo's "big four" reality series (Runway, Shear Genius, Top Chef, Top Design) airing back-to-back on the same night — but it could help Shear Genius if people come for Runway and then don't want to get off the couch.
I'm still a little wary about this season — July is just so soon! I mean, Christian Siriano's 15 minutes aren't even up yet. But on the other hand, it could be the last season of Runway as we know it, on Bravo and with the Magical Elves team behind it. No chance I'm going to miss out, even if I don't quite have my normal Runway craving yet. You?

9elanakat — it's supposed to be moving to Lifetime but not till November — we'll end up with two seasons almost back-to-back if this plan goes through!

By the way tonight at 10pm est "Tori & Dean" 's show will have a Fashion show w/ Christian! But the usual out-of-context clip,shows Tory alarmed that her jewely was not worn by the models! Could Christian be getting a bigger head?Why? were the pieces[jewelery] NOT condusive to his dresses? Now,don't start your indulgent ignorant #$#$#$ by saying "Tori's stuff must have been bad,or Christian would have shown it?" Let us not create an IDOL by being IDLE!!I mean,you can admire a person,but don't get nauseating! If his reasons are discussed,w/ Tori,and I they will be,as I saw them speak,but was it before or after the show,because IF Christian& Tori spoke,& Tori assumed he'd be showing her line,then he didn't, then we'll have to wait to see if that conversation took place before or after,imagine,if Christian ,in fact told Tori her line "would" be shown,then wasn't???Would you still condone such a greedy,made-it-too-soon,never struggled enough to get where he is syndrome....like "oprah" she's another who never struggled! "Fashion Show" is on Bravo,but I say NO...Braco to "Lifetime"..I wish I knew what happened w/ "that" network thing? Has to be "MONEY" right,isn't everything in that greedy business?For those who are experts of the cinematic genere,which you're not,do you really think if you had a chance to make 65grand an episode like those 2 idiots John&Kate,who feeds her kids "Ragu"[I like it,but being Sicilian"I was raised on fresh tomatoes from the whole[can or fresh!]Whatever background "she" comes from,well...spoiled?yes,and hubby? smoking pot?
