Oh MY GOODNESS! I can't wait to see this, I'm going tomorrow. I hope it's genuinely scary, I've seen alot of tame movies lately.

The trailer of that movie scared me enough, I can't imagine what the movie is actually like.

i love scott speedman but i can't handle scary movies, particularly in theaters so i hope (for his sake) it's very popular, but i won't be seeing it.

It's based partly on a true story?! That preview is definitley scary. IDK if I want to see it though, it kinda reminds me of movies like Vacancy (lame) and The Panic Room (Super lame).

skiwi — The movie centers around a couple who spend an evening in a cabin and some strange people come around and scare the daylights out of them. Pretty simple plot but so very scary somehow.

I've already seen the trailer on TV and I wish they would stop airing it at night. It freaks me out and I'm a naturally paranoid person. It doesn't help that the trailer mentions that it's partly based on a true story.

FYI - no one seems to know what "true story" this is based on (I dig some checking on IMDB).

chiquita25 - The "true story" part is strange and irrelevant to the story in my opinion. Not sure why they harp on that so much other than drumming up even more intrigue.

I think I read somewhere that the "inspired by true events" part had something to do with the director being inspired by events that were part of the 1969 Manson murders/helter skelter time in history.

This trailer absolutely TERRIFIES me...I don't think I can ever watch this movie...I think it would scare me so badly, I'd have nightmares for a month. Seriously. I love Liv, but I think I'm going to have to pass.

I want to see this! A movie hasn't really scared me since I saw Final Destination for the first time.

The creepy music is what makes it really scary. And the screaming, of course.

oooo i hope this meets my expectatios for scary movies, that genre has been sucking HARDCORE these past few years.

Meh, I saw the trailer, honestly, me and my friends laughed at it. Especially the scene where the masked face is showing in the dark while liv tyler looks on unaware. It's just... not that special for me.

Ive seen the trailer on TV so i'm not going to watch it again. The first time I saw it I was scared! Afterwards I had to change the channel everytime I saw it. This trailer is interesting though because I think in the beginning the aired trailer was longer, almost a mini movie. I thought it was a commercial because it seemed pleasant. Then I was suddenly terrified. I recently had a break in while I was home so there is no way i'm going to see this movie anytime soon.

This movie was filmed around my neck of the woods! We had no idea it was a horror movie while it was being filmed. I'm seeing it this weekend!

i'm sorry, i'm not trying to bring anyone down, but ive seen all the previews, and this thing doesnt look scary at all! and i'm scared of gnats! you guys really think this is so terrifying? I mean, i'd never imagine seeing it in theaters, i'm not a scary movie person, but honestly, it doesnt look that bad.

I have to keep myself away from scary movies, even the tame/lame ones because I get so freaked out by them... so I'll definitely pass on this one. But, the trailer looks like it's going to be a good movie for people who love these kinds of movies!
