Spielberg has been getting a lot of attention lately for his most recent Indiana Jones movie, and it's clear the Indy franchise has a ton of die-hard fans. But what about the other Spielberg-directed films?

Which non-Indiana Jones Spielberg-directed movie is your favorite?

Versace
Michael Kors
True Religion

1There are so many great films in that list, but I had to choose E.T.. That movie was one of the first I saw in the movie theater and I still love it!
2Way too hard to pick just one, but I did, and it was Saving Private Ryan.
3E.T.
4Then Schindler's List
Then Munich
Then The Color Purple
I just LOVE him! He has such range...from fun commerical movies like Indy and Jurassic Park, to some of the most touching films of our time like Schindler's List and Saving Private Ryan.
5I love Jurassic Park. Like, LOVE love. But Hook comes in a very close second.
6LOL I have all of his movies and heart them so...'cept for color purple, not a real fan.
But Munich!! Ahhh..then Catch Me, AI, Jurassic..and the others fall in line:)
7I chose Hook, but I also like ET and Catch Me if you Can.
8I was surprised how many of these I really like, but I had to go with one of my all-time favourites...Jaws. Scared the crap out of me the first time I saw it and strangely, I've loved it ever since. No idea what that says about me.
Also love Munich, Schindler's, Minority Report, Jurassic, Saving Private Ryan...good movies all.
9Catch Me If You Can is my favorite of all of them. It was fascinating. And as usual, Leo and Tom Hanks were amazing.
10Jaws for me!
I'm not a fan of Saving private ryan, but I'm french so it can explain why. Catch me if you can, I prefer the book (not in the cliché way, it's more fun, that's all), the movie is good, however. I don't like E.T.
Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Munich, Amistad, War of the world : really great movie.
I think Terminal is the worst in the list (and 1941, the worse Spielberg done)
11i cant choose one, cause I've seen all of those movies and liked them, like one of my favorite childhood directors and i have to say he is probably of the few that i have enjoyed all of his filmography
12For me, toss up between Jurassic Park and Schindler's List. From a purely entertainment standpoint, Jurassic Park can't be beat. It was perfect! Schindler's List as a drama and important movie deserves a nod too.
13Glad to see I wasn't the only person who picked Hook =) I haven't actually seen Schindler's List (it's been on my "to watch" list for eons now), Jaws, or a bunch of the ones listed, but I did like E.T. and Catch Me If You Can a lot. I remember thinking Amistad was good, but I don't remember anything about it and I don't know if I actually saw the whole thing. The Color Purple was much better as a book, I thought, and Jurassic Park...well...yeah.
14I sobbed the entire way through Saving Private Ryan. Literally.
But I loved it.
15That was really hard to choose. But Schindler's List, for me, is the best movie of his. The Color Purple is also amazing. I actually love A.I. too, but that's the mama's boy in me!
16ET definitely! My first real "date" was that movie! And the reason I got hooked on Reese's Pieces!
17The Color purple. It was a powerful movie.
18Schindler's List, definitely, but I loved Empire of the Sun, too.
19Oh no I wouldn't be able to decide. I love many of them.
20Impossible to pick one. Impossible! Even if it was broken down my genre, it'd still be impossible.
21my should be one... man, I wish you could edit on here.
22Out of that list... Jurassic Park hands down!
23It astounds me that one man can have so much vision! He has managed to produce some of the greatest movies of all time!! I'm just sitting here trying to imagine what the movie scene would be like, without his incredible influence. I can't seem to pick just one.
24Schindler's List although I also like "Catch Me If You Can."
I must be one of the few that dislike ET (don't hit me!lol.)
25et
catch me if u can
then hook
munich was filmed in my country (we only went to see if for the scenery
26Jaws!! The 'Jaws' theme still give me shivers whenever I hear it!
This movie is the
main reason why I never learned how to swim :0
27for me it was; "War of the Worlds", i love this movie
28I chose Jurassic Park because it's one of my favorite movies and I can watch it over and over again. But looking over that list I see that there are a lot of his movies that I've loved. Namely E.T. and Hook. I thought Schindler's List and Munich were stunning but not movies I could ever consider my favorite. Too depressing.
29who can choose just one? i still get leary going in the water thanks to jaws. i saw jurasic park so many times i fully expected to see a dino open my front door. my friends and i quote color purple for fun. and amistad and shindler's list introduced you to suffering and the triumph of humanity in ways i can't begin to describe. he is by far my favorite director and when you add indy to the equation you are talking about cinematic magic!!!!
30color purple and shindlers list.
31I seem to be one of the few that loves Close Encounters. Granted, I love a lot of his films. But the ending of Close Encounters makes me cry, even more than ET.
32Jurassic Park, then Jaws.
33the color purple!
34gosh he is amazing. Jurassic Park does it for me! I was OBSESSED when it came out!
35schindler's list was AMAZING
36Favorite: His movie "1941". To this day it still cracks me up.
Then, The Color Purple. Which still makes me cry at least 3 times before its over.
37Schindler's List.
38I love all of these movies!! I voted for E.T., but Jaws, Jurassic Park, and Hook all kick ass too!
39color purple, ai, et, catch me if you can and jaws
40The Color Purple, so different from what he usually does and aced it. I also love jurassic park!
