As you know, the Sex and the City movie opens this Friday, and it's no secret that we here at Sugar HQ are pretty pumped. After all, we're giving away the DVD box set, and heck, we're even hosting our very own VIP premiere party tomorrow night in San Francisco!
So now comes the ultimate question: Which SATC girl is your favorite? Of course we love them all, but if you could choose just one, who would it be? Carrie, Samantha, Miranda, or Charlotte?

I'm more like Miranda because I'm always sarcastic and cynical but I had to choose Carrie for the reasons you gave.
1it's typical that a majority of ppl would think that they were a 'carrie'. she has this 'sense' about her that makes people all feel that they can relate. i can't wait for the movie. i'm sad that i'm not going to the premier tonight
2I like Samantha. Most interesting.
3While I like the relatability factor of Carrie, I was always so fond of Samantha for her out there style, sensibility that I wasn't accustomed to watching female characters on screen, or at least being able to pull it off while being endearing.
4Although I love Carrie and those shoes, I choose Charlotte.

19For me it's between Carrier and Charlotte. Carrie is the funniest, but she can be very selfish - that's why I love Charlotte, she is very thoughtful.

36Charlotte! I relate to her the most out of all the characters because I am very traditional and I've always just wanted to get married and have a family, but I'm not quite as optimistic as she is. I'm very sarcastic and honest like Miranda, but our similarities end there. I don't really relate to Carrie and Samantha, but I admire Carrie's fearless sense of style and Samantha's confidence.
37I cannot stand Charlotte, especially in the earlier episodes. She became less annoying in the last season, but I generally find her to be whiny and just generally bothersome. I agree em113, Miranda is great, but style wise not so much. I find Samantha the funniest.

Carrie is my favorite and I am definitely most like her. I used to think everyone thought they were like her because they purposely make her easy to relate to, but the more I talk to people, the more I realize that not that many people think they're a Carrie. I feel like lately I've heard a lot more people say they can relate to Miranda. Case in point, this thread!

41Carrie is definitely my favorite, but I think you have to a little part of the personalities of the other three ladies somewhere in the mix. Miranda's sarcasm, Charlotte's optimism and Samantha's sexuality are all great in small doses.
