The trailer for Woody Allen's latest effort Vicky Cristina Barcelona has no dialogue — only a montage of scenes from the film set to a song sung in Spanish. This is probably for the best, I suppose, so we can concentrate on all the making out that's going on (including a kiss between Penelope and Scarlett) and how good-looking Javier Bardem is. According to IMDB, the plot description is this: "A painter enters a relationship with two American tourists. Conflict begins with the painter's jealous ex-girlfriend."

Woody Allen can do no wrong in my book. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing this.
2...Given my excitement over the film, I hadn't seen the trailer before my last post! Now that I have seen it, however, I can say that it looks good. I'm still very excited to see it!

9I can't wait until September 5th! I'm not a Woody Allen expert but I'm a big fan. Judging from the trailer, it looks like it fulfills most of the Woody Allen prereq's: a perfect, ho-hum relationship and/or friendship about to be torn apart because someone cheats, passion and lust ensue, someone starts to develop feelings from the fling and gets really jealous, then someone dies. Looks like Penelope gets to be pegged as the crazy Latina! But I'll let you know after I see it.
