Each year the network upfronts can be an exciting glimpse into what we can look forward to watching on TV come Fall. The sneak peeks at new shows are especially fun, and the world seems full of possibilities!

Of course, it's also bittersweet as some shows we had such high hopes for only a year ago and series that many have grown to love get the ax. Shows like Girlfriends on the CW or Jericho (which we knew was doomed in March) on CBS are especially difficult cuts for their fiercely loyal fan base.
Which cancellations this year bum you out the most?

I Love(d) Miss Guided!
1I actually really liked New Amsterdam
2In order for me:
#1 Men In Trees - because it's my favorite!
#2 Girlfriends - because I didn't get to say goodbye after all of these years.
#3 Cashmere Mafia - because I am the only sane person that loved it more than Lipstick Mafia.
#4 Moonlight - because I caught an episode for the first time this week, and it was soooo good! Was canceled before I could even become a fan.
3I meant Lipstick Jungle, my bad.
4I'll probably miss aliens in america the most. it really was so funny though! it sucks that nobody was sane enough tow atch it. also miss guided was pretty fun.
5I am pissed about Miss Guided. Are they out of their minds?
6I liked a lot of these, but voted for Moonlight, if only because I'll really miss Jason Dohring on my screen each week. I hope he finds more work quickly!
7I voted Miss Guided, but I'm really bummed about Notes From the Underbelly, too! It wasn't really a surprise that one was canceled though; they pretty much wrapped everything up in the last episode.
8Miss Guided! It was a really cute show and I love Judy Greer & Kristoffer Polaha. Its too bad that this is Kristoffer and Brooke Burns's second show to get the axe prematurely (the first show was North Shore, which came out in 2004 and I thought had potential).
The only other show of these that I watched was Notes from the Underbelly, but it seemed kinda pointless after she had the baby...
9I really liked Miss Guided, but I think it was doomed from the start, due to how they scheduled it.
10October Road!!! I can't believe they are going to leave us hanging like that.
11Men in Trees! It seems like it was never on...always being on hiatus for October Road or some such.
12I haven't even heard of miss guided nor had I seen any episode of Back to you.
13Miss Guided, Girlfriends, Notes from the Underbelly, Cashmere Mafia... I'll miss you all
@funkygeorge: Did New Amsterdam get cancelled to?! Say it ain't so!!!
14None! They were all terrible.
15miss guided was AMAZINGGG---one of the most accurate teacher-based shows ive seen.
that, and moonlight (again, jason dohring helllooo)
and women's murder club was fabulous.
16A bit of a geeky choice, but I was really getting into Journeyman, which was a kind of cross between Quantum Leap and Early Edition set in San Francisco. I never get my hopes up too high for scifi on network tv because they often prove short lived, but I'm always disappointed when a good one goes on the chopping block. As for Journeyman, I loved loved loved the sexiness of Kevin McKidd, the mystery of Moon Bloodgood's character, and the empathy of Gretchen Egolf's. The writing was great and a real sense of show arc/mystery was really developing.
17hey buzz, do you know if/when CANE is coming back? me and my mom were sooo obsessed with that show
18I'll miss Women's Murder Club, it was a good show.
19I'm glad the racist show Back to You is gone.
One more. CANE. Who can deny the sexiness of money, power, sugar, and a hot Latin family in the midst of it all in south Florida? Jimmy Smits, Hector Elizondo, Rita Moreno, Nestor Carbonell, and Polly Walker -- this show had a stellar cast. It did play more like Dallas than The Sopranos, though, and that might have been its undoing.
20Malzie, Cane wasn't picked up by CBS. It's effectively dead. Sadness.
21Thank you, serial! Yeah, sadly Malzie, Cane was canceled.
22Aw, I did like Cane. I also sorta liked Miss Guided, Cashmere Mafia and October Road. But not enough to miss any of them.
23I voted too quick for Jericho - I meant Aliens in America. and Cane
24canes gone for good...! awww man that serisouly sucks..i have to go cry now
25From that list I've only watched Men In Trees & Notes From the Underbelly. And those TOTALLY deserve to get canceled!
26Does no one like Notes from the Underbelly?? I loved that show - it was cute and very funny! My boyfriend however, was soo upset when he found out that Jericho was getting canceled. I didn't like that show at all!
27Arrested Development!
28I'm going to second Arrested Development. I don't think I watched any of the listed shows.
29Moonlight...(sigh) How could they cancel a show about vampires? They're like the sexiest supernatural creatures!!
30I miss Journeyman.
31Miss Guided was great! Judy Greer is phenomenal and it was a funny show!!!!! I enjoyed Women's Murder Club too. Why can't it be on Friday nights or something?
32Aaaah - Arrested Development, I still miss you.
I loved Miss Guided, and so did my husband (a teacher). You'd think we'd represent a young demo the network wants? Esp now that I'm being selective in wathing tv (strike broke my tv watching habits)... eh.
I also liked Women's Murder Club, and was disappointed by October Road - I felt it had potential and somehow fell flat.
I think networks are underestimating the damage of the strike - I'm so much more discriminating now, and am a lot more likely to rent and watch all the seasons of the Wire knowing it will be good (haven't watched yet, it is right up my alley) than to chance some sketchy, generic, thrown together show they put out.
(most underrated awesome new show? big bang theory. really love the nerds)
33I am most sad about Woman's Murder Club--for some reason I just LOVED IT
But I also liked
Notes From the Underbelly and I didn't like October Road as much as What About Brian but I always watched it. And I agree, Miss Guided never got a chance! Ugh, this always makes me so mad!!!!
So many crappy shows stay on the air and good ones get cancelled!
34For me, in order: Aliens in America, Back to You, Women's Murder Club and Miss Guided. All of these had potential. Too bad the network didn't promote Aliens a bit more since it could have been saved.
35not a big deal
36i don't watch any of these shows
I'm gonna miss a lot: October Road, Cashmere Mafia, Women's Murder Club, and Aliens in America. They were all good, decent shows that were fun to watch!
37Jericho being cancelled yet again totally bums me out!!! If Rangers have any say in the matter we will find a new home though!!!
38For sure, the show I miss the MOST is Jericho! No doubt about it. After that Moonlight and New Amsterdam. But didn't have to think twice about Jericho!
But we won't be missing it for too long, because we are working hard to bring it back for Season 3 on another network. Talks are in the works; it's gonna happen.
39Girlfriend's I am sad, oh well who needs diversity ( being sarcastic)
40Moonlight was canceled???????????!!!!
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!
41Girlfriends! And the way they just canceled it with no ending NO RESPECT after all these YEARS. The CW SUCKS!!!
42i didnt know aliens in america was cancelled!!! that totally stinks!
43Las Vegas! Can't friggin believe it!
44Cashmere Mafia, I loved the color, style, look & feel of it. And I was kinda into some of the story lines. It was more campy & fun than Lipstick Jungle, which I got more into as the season went along.
45Moonlight. I will really miss watching that show...
46The only show on this list that I watched was Cashmere Mafia and I liked it.
47Arrested Development! haha I don't know any of the shows listed, but I feel your pain
48Notes from the Underbelly! I loooooved it!
49miss guided and october road. i LOVED both! abc makes me so mad because they cut EVERYTHING. they suck. maybe the guy from october road can go back to one tree next season. he was good as peytons love interest
