I gotta say, I really like the premise for Hancock. There's a complicated, surly, alcoholic superhero (Will Smith) who grates on peoples' nerves rather than earning their adoration. Thus, he needs a PR pro (Jason Bateman) to help him gain the trust of the public. It could be totally silly, certainly, but the new full-length trailer makes the movie look pretty amusing. I even laughed out loud a few times (mostly during the part with the female cop he's trying to help). However, I also feel like the entire movie is shown in the three-minute trailer, which is frustrating.
Hancock hits theaters July 2, so to check out the trailer and tell me what you think, read more.

Awww. I LOVE Will Smith!
I agree--I love Will Smith! He is one of my all-time favorite actors, and I'd go see him in just about everything (not to mention, the movie looks good, too..haha).
I like where he throws the kid into the sky. Actually I'd like to be able to do that....
I got to see it at a preview and that's exactly how it is. I hope they change it up before it's release!
this looks good.
Haha, I think it looks pretty good. I love that he's not your average all American superhero. I would go see it.
Will runs July 4th!!! I'm so glad he has his July 4th weekend back. Everybody tries to open their movie now around this time ever since Will made it a blockbuster holiday! GO WILL!!!
Can't wait!!! I am so excited for some films this summer (Iron Man, Dark Knight, Hancock, Don't Mess w/ The Zohan..) Now I need some cash to go to the movies, lol.
Wow, Will's arms are looking good.
I am very excited to see this.
This looks better than I expected.!!
I'm really excited to see this.
The article in the Sunday NY Times made it seem like the marketing is focused on comedy and action, but the movie actually has a dark edge. I wouldn't be surprised because even as charismatic as Will Smith is, he seems like he is willing to take risks in his roles (ALI and I Am Legend).
