For many women, the idea of a constantly ticking biological clock is stressful at best, downright irritating at worst. Yet when it's handled well, the "single woman planning a family" movie schtick can be pretty fun to watch (see box office smash hit Baby Mama for the most recent example).
On the other hand, it can be pretty painful when it's handled poorly — and I'm guessing that's what's happening with Miss Conception, which stars Heather Graham as a British woman (yep, she's sporting an accent in this movie) who discovers she has one egg left — and it will be gone in two weeks. Huh. I'm not sure this is even plausible, much less a worthwhile premise on which to build a quirky, slapstick comedy around . . . and yet, here we are.
Does a British-accented Heather Graham desperately trying to get herself pregnant via lots of sex look like a good time to you? I may be surprised, but I don't have high hopes for this one. The movie's set for release on June 6. To take a look at this trailer for yourself and tell me what you think, read more.

Think I'll pass on this one. Thanks, Buzz.
1Ugh! That was painful to watch. Don't think I'll be catching this one.
2Oh my. All you had to say was "Heather Graham, British accent" and that was enough for me. Pass!
3I already dislike the whole "I need a baby to be content" storyline everyone throws around for women (and never for men), but the ridiculous accent and plotline here makes this even worse.
4yeah - what is with all the baby nonsense these days? ugh. this is a bad-looking movie!
5Heaven forbid a woman over 25 be content without children! I think I'll pass on this one. Seriously, what is with all these Gotta Have A Baby movies? I thought women had come further than that.
6Errr, umm, no thanks. This is actually getting a theatrical release? It screams "straight to DVD" to me.
7heather graham just bugs me, and her british accent is more then I can handle. pass.
8All you have to see is Heather Graham is in the movie. That girl cannot act her way out of a paper bag.
9I think the British would be insulted. No wonder they couldn't find any actual British actors to play these awful roles.
10Yeah, I agree with the baby-overkill comments. I'm getting really sick of it.
11roller girl is nasty, i cant even look at her bug eyes
12I just assumed this was straight-to-DVD looking at the poster image. Heather Graham in the lead role? She is unwatchable as an actress (unless she's playing Roller Girl).
13It sounds like the plotline for Speed, only for...eggs? Heather, British accent? Oh dear. Oh dear indeed.
