"Idol" said farewell to:
- Leslie Hunt
- Alaina Alexander
- AJ Tabaldo
- Nick Pedro
No big shockers, though I thought Alaina, AJ, and Nick deserved the boot last week more than this week. Alaina was such a mess, she couldn't even make it through her sing-off. Sanjaya, meanwhile, looked absolutely floored when he found out he was safe. Who's voting for him, exactly?
How did you do? Here's the ballot for the girls, and here's the one for the guys. The only good news for me this week is that nobody from my top 12 got kicked off.
Some other observations:
- Apparently "Feeling Good" is the kiss of death for "Idol" contestants. Both singers who tried it this week are gone.
- Wow, Jordin looks different with her hair straighter. I almost didn't recognize her.
- Kellie Pickler, honey, stop tanning and wear looser clothing, please. For everyone's sake. And stop playing dumb; we know it's an act.
- Lots of criers this year, huh? Jordin, Gina, Sundance ... do you think they're authentically sad or just faking for the cameras?

I was surprised to see AJ go and dumbo Sanjaya stay. Freaking loser, I hate him. His song was so lame on Tuesday.
Sundance looked like a lost five year old on TV last night. I was like, STOP CRYING you hair, hairy freak.
And Kellie. OMG, I knew she was going to perform, but when I saw her I was all like WHAAAAAA. What happened to her? Her hair? The dress? Oh my. It was somewhat sweet when she welled up during her performance though.
1Gimmie a break Kelly Pickler! I saw her preform that song on "The View" like a month ago and she broke down then too. How many more times are you gonna milk that? Seriously. Plus the Boobs, the hair and the terrible makeup! Omg. She looks like a used up, sad little person. And no, I don't feel sorry for her one bit. I liked the little dig by Ryan though about what she has been spending her money on. I wish I could have heard what he said to Simon after he walked off stage for her performance!
2I agree with crispet1 -hate Sanjaya. Its a singing competition people! Sanjaya didn't sing! He whispered! And was SO friggin boring! Sometimes I hate the show cause it makes me so mad - but why oh why do I keep watching??!?
Yeah Sanjaya irritates the living crap out of me.
3Sanjaya needed to go last night! I am so upset that I will have to listen to him sing again. Actually, with Tivo I can just fast forward thank god!
And Kellie Pickler looked ridiculous. Her boobs were big enough before. She is not and will never be Dolly Parton, no matter how big her boobs get.
4You could tell by the look on Sanjaya's face, he knew America was wrong when he wasn't sent home! Whoever is out there voting for Sanjaya, yes he is a nice kid, but this is a singing competition, STOP voting for him!
5Alaina and Nick were more deserving of the boot than Leslie and A. J. The other two besides Nick and Alaina WERE Antonella and Sanjaya. I hope to God whoever is voting for these two gets sick of it. I AGREE WITH PAULA 100%. It is a singing competition and it didn't reflect that Thursday night.
6Sanjaya is the worst. He has alot of people following him for the wrong reason.
7I can't get enough of A.I. here I thought I wouldn't watch it this season.........all the ones that were let go needed to be! I still haven't memorized names yet....but the one black chick that was acting so 'omg you mean y'all like me, y'all really like me......' bit is gonna get boring fast, she'll over do that cause Simon said it was admirable.....I like alot of them this season, that one white dude with the fro and the surprisingly cute wife sings really good....
8I just liked looking at Alaina's outfits! She had the cutest style and seemed like a sweet person, just not the greatest singer.
I adore Sanjaya. I think he is a sweetheart. But I seriously was ready for him to go. His performance sucked. But AJ was always sharp when he sang. So... he would've left sometime in the near future anyway.
