Today there's news of yet another comedic adventure coming from the Farrelly Bros., this one with the classy title Beaujolais. The movie is described as "a redneck action-adventure with a protagonist along the lines of an Austin Powers or Ace Ventura."
After suffering through their remake of The Heartbreak Kid last Fall and seeing the disappointing outcome of their TV series Unhitched, I might be pretty much done with these dudes. I wonder if they peaked with earlier movies like Dumb and Dumber and There's Something About Mary. Or, could it be that in this atmosphere of Apatow and Juno, audiences are looking for something more than slapstick, gross-out humor and flimsy plotlines?
What do you think? Will you give the Farrellys more chances?

I thought they were already over as it was. They were annoying enough back in the day.
1I welcome the Farrelly's to give it another go...JUST STOP WITH THE FREAKIN' REMAKES!!!
2Never liked their movies much to begin with.
3Its hit or miss with them...I liked Fever Pitch that came out a couple years ago (yes, that was by the Farrellys) and I thought the Heartbreak Kid was better than I heard it was (although the ending was terrible).
4Of course, I love There's Something about Mary and Dumb & Dumber too!
5I liked the Heartbreak Kid. I'm okay with whatever they do.
6I hope they keep trying. I'm a fan of theirs.
7I really don't like their brand of humor at all.
8Sorry, bro's, but there's a new sherriff in town, and his name is Judd Apatow. Unless you can manage to make a new spin on his new spin, you guys are toast.
9they've done so many great funny movies that i think they should keep going if they can.
10Yah, I have never been a big fan of their stuff- Dumb and Dumber was basically the only really funny one- every other one has just been so stupid I get mad at myself for watching.
11i think their movies had their time in the spotlight. i don't think we need more of the same kind of movies anymore.
