Diva mentor Mariah Carey was in the Idol house last night, and the contestants worked hard to prove they too have what it takes to be record-setting stars. Carey — who certainly seems to be everywhere all of a sudden — has a vocal range wider than a football field and has sold millions of records, so no pressure at all on the top seven when they took on her catalog, I'm sure! Which singer do you think failed to rise to the challenge and will be headed home next?

I want Kristy Lee Cook gone! But I think Carly will be leaving this week.
1I think Brooke will be leaving. I mean don't get me wrong. I like her, but she's not doing as well as she did in the beginning.
2I think Brooke might get the boot. She was pretty bad in my opinion.
3Eugh it bugs me so much that I can't vote (not that I vote for the UK one, but still). I really want Kristy Lee Cook or Syesha gone. I think very few this time around have the ability to be popular in places other than the US. Kristy Lee and Syesha are the ones I definitely don't find relevant in the UK, if that makes sense.

They need to kick her off pronto, or else she'll be another one of the Idol losers who still gets an album and we still have to hear her crap and see her continuously!
5I thought Brooke was pretty bad last night. I think she'll be in the bottom 3, but she has a decent following so might not go home. Carly wasn't very good either, which is a shame because she has a nice voice. I liked all the guys though. Syesha and KLC should've gone home WEEKS ago (CERTAINLY before Michael) so I basically pretend they aren't there. It's easier for my sanity

Kristy Lee should go home. She sucked.
7Yeah, I don't like Kristy Lee Cook's singing style at all. It's awesome that she enjoys Country music so much but she wants to "countrify" everything and it's becoming boring.
I love Brooke but she's not doing it right for some weeks now. Maybe she'll get the boot... what a pity, she's so beautiful and talented.
And about Michael, he's soooo gorgeus! (but not as gorgeous as Dave Cook

8The boys are outsinging the girls by far on this season. I love Brooke, but she hasn't been able to get it right for a few weeks now and she could be gone after tonight. Hers was easily the worst performance- she's a great singer she just doesn't have that power voice that most Idols have.
9Brooke was kinda bad yesterday...she missed a step towards the end of the song...I def. think it will be her, Syesha and Carly in the bottom 3... and that's ok by me - b/c David Cook needs to win! He is phenomenal! He made me like that song again (they played it so much on the radio I couldn't stand it anymore)
10I understand what you're saying, swwonder. Phasekitty, I think the boys had a huge advantage last night because no one was comparing their voices to Mariah Carey. Pretty much all the girls got told that their voice wasn't as strong as mariah's-- but the boys did not suffer from that comparison.

12I hate both of the David's. Hate them. One reminds me of a troll and the other is a wussy.
13As long as David Archuleta & David Cook are safe i could care less who goes home.....however, what was America (WE!!!) thinking when we let MJ go home?? He was awesome!! Can we vote to bring him back? Maybe trade him for Kristy Lee Cook?

15KLC's staying power has amazed me.
I was surprised at Carly's remarks about missing MJ soooo much. Just be happy YOU didn't get sent home.
I know he's not the best singer but I voted for Jason 12 or 15 times.
16Syesha, however if she stays then I think Kristy will go home.
17If Brooke goes before Kristy Lee and Syesha, I'm really going to stop watching Idol. :/
