- Some things should stay secret. After registering just 4.6 million viewers for its premiere on Tuesday, Secret Talents of the Stars was yanked from the CBS schedule — which means we'll never get to see Ben Stein dance the jitterbug.
- The Office is open for business. The long layoff doesn't seem to have hurt The Office, which came back relatively strong with 9.2 million viewers on Thursday.
- On the other hand . . . 30 Rock didn't have such a great showing, with just 5.7 million viewers — the worst performing of NBC's four comedies.
- Loser is big. Even though it's up against American Idol, NBC's The Biggest Loser can still, er, pull its weight on Tuesdays. While it started the night with just 7.5 million viewers, its audience shot up over 10 million at 9 p.m., once Idol was over.
- A Battlestar boost. The season premiere of Battlestar Galactica last Friday was the show's best outing in two years, with 2.1 million viewers, 1.4 million of them in the key 18-49 demographic.
- Sad Sunday. Nearly every network took a hit on Sunday; the New York Times noted it was the worst Sunday overall since Christmas Eve 2006! among the worst: NBC's airings of cable hits Monk and Psych, which got just 5.7 million and 4 million viewers, respectively.
- Basketball bounce. Good news if you're a Jayhawks fan: The Kansas team's win in the NCAA basketball tournament was seen by 41.7 million people, the highest for the tournament's finale in three years.

Dress for Less
I guess we'll watch anything now-a-days.
1Dang, I didn't know that Secret Talents of the Stars already debuted. I would've watched. CBS certainly isn't good at promoting its lesser known shows, like Cane(an AMAZING show!! Check it out at cbs.com!).
And hella right re:The Office. I have been waiting months for a new episode and tried to tide myself over with watching past seasons. New episodes
And yayyyyy Biggest Loser! It's interesting unlike American Idol-- which sorely needs to be retired. let it go while it's still decent.
