These two lovely ladies of the indie film world will team up for a new little comedy titled Divorce Ranch, led by longtime director Michael Lindsay-Hogg. According to Variety:
Divorce Ranch is set in Nevada just after WWII, when a quickie divorce could be granted after residency was established.
Sevigny will portray an actress who comes to the ranch with her 6-year-old son so she can then marry a wealthy man. Deschanel will play her assistant.
I can't wait to see these two in a movie like this. In the meantime, we can follow the actresses' real-life ventures, like Zooey's musical career alongside M. Ward and Chloe's adventures in fashion design.
