Saw it in the Autumn, was quite enjoyable and did the source material justice. Might be a bit graphic for some (good thing showtime are airing it in the states otherwise it'd probably be cut to shreds), but if you come with an open mind and don't expect any underlying moral lessons then you'll enjoy it.

That's Billy Piper (who also starred in Doctor Who), not the most attractive or stunning woman in a still but is very likeable in motion (so to speak) and a surprisingly good actress.

Billie Piper is amazing! She's a great actress and a great lady (She was married to a very wealthy man and, when they got divorced, walked away from millions -- didn't take a penny -- simply because she knew she didn't need his money).

Certainly is timely!

I've seen some episodes of Secret Diary of a Call Girl, and it's fantastic. Billy Piper is really perfect, and the show can be pretty hilarious at times. I'm glad we're getting it stateside!

I've only ever seen Billie Piper on Doctor Who, so seeing her as a call girl is sort of hysterical!

Given the nature of the programs, it's doubtful we'll get any of them in Singapore (very strict censoring). Pity!

wow - i read 'diary of a manhattan call girl' and i didn't know that it was going to be made into a movie (series whatever). i'm going to have to check both of these out when they air. i'll keep my eyes open for the show on Showtime and the new one on HBO

I read Diary of a Manhattan Call Girl forever ago. But I liked it. Could make for some interesting TV.

I thought I recognized the woman in the picture - it's Billie Piper of course. I haven't read the book or seen the show before, but it looks fairly interesting. I'll probably give it a try.
