Well, we're through one elimination round on "American Idol," and so far I'm only batting .500. I picked two of the eliminated contestants correctly but missed the other two completely.

- Nicole Tranquillo
The only vaguely surprising elimination to me was Nicole's; I didn't hate her performance nearly as much as the judges did, though I didn't see her sticking around till the top 12 anyway. I thought people would kick off Nick instead of Rudy, but I'm not heartbroken that Rudy's gone.
For the record, two of my top 12 picks are already out. This might be a rough year for my snap judgments.

I was suprised when Ryan said that Sanjaya(sp?) got in the top 4 with votes. I did not like Paul Kim. I can barely make out the pictures on my screen for some reason, but I did not like Nicole at all(if she is the one with the shorter hair). I could not figure out what she was singing. It was horrible. The other two eliminated were not memorable to me.
1Nick Pedro shouldve gone, not Paul.
2Antonella was one of my favorites but I just saw some bad (as in dirty) pictures of her! Now I'm sad.

3that votefortheworst.com website is probably the reason Sundance and Sanjaya are still there, and probably will be fore a few more rounds. Take a look at vote4idol.com predictions section and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Rudy deserved to go home. He was awful.
