I've said it once and I'll say it again: "The OC" [0] is officially over. Sure, the show hasn't been a ratings darling this season, but even I was shocked when Fox announced in early January [0] that it was canceling the series for good.

Thankfully, after last week's rather lackluster post-earthquake episode [0], it looks like the writers have prepared the action-packed finale that this melodramatic show deserves. Time-wise, the final show picks up six months after the earthquake happens, which is kind of a cheap move but also lets us fast-forward to some juicy plot possibilities.
