I've said it once and I'll say it again: "The OC" is officially over. Sure, the show hasn't been a ratings darling this season, but even I was shocked when Fox announced in early January that it was canceling the series for good.
Thankfully, after last week's rather lackluster post-earthquake episode, it looks like the writers have prepared the action-packed finale that this melodramatic show deserves. Time-wise, the final show picks up six months after the earthquake happens, which is kind of a cheap move but also lets us fast-forward to some juicy plot possibilities. Even though it's been a slow story line this year- I am beyond sad that it's coming to an end tonight... I think they cancelled it too quickly, they didn't have time to recover from Marissa's death, maybe they never would have, but I think they should've let it go at least the normal season run... but alas, they didn't ask me

1I'm shocked at how sad I am! It's so silly, but I just didn't think it would get cancelled. When they announced they were cancelling it, I started to watch Gray's again because I figured I couldn't help it out anymore and I would just buy the season on dvd (I've bought all the others). But I am bummed.
2I'm pretty sad too. It was really hard for me when Marissa died last season and I don't know what I'm going to do if I can't get my weekly Ryan Atwood fix...looks like I'll have to get the special boxed dvd set.

4I am sad too ! And I think I'm not prepare to that end ... They cancelled it too early. A season with more than 16 episode sould be better but they decide and we cannot say anything !

6i haven't watched it yet.. i used to be obsessed with the OC but its now dissapointing..
7Okay, I am never like this but I actually got emotional in the final episode. I love that they showed what ended up happening to all the characters in the end. Especially between Seth and Summer...that's when I really lost it. Oh god. I've just admitted that on the world wide web. I have now officially lost all credibility. All in all, great ending.
8I agree, i love how Summer and Seth ended up. It was a good ending.
9I don't know what i'm going to do without my weekly dose of Rachel and Adam. i just love them.
