After weeks upon weeks of speculation and controversy — concerning both Bob Dylan's outrage over the film and Sienna Miller behaving like a child in general — Factory Girl is finally set to open nationwide this Friday, February 9. Sienna Miller plays Edie Sedgwick, muse to artist Andy Warhol (played by Guy Pearce) during the Factory's heyday in the 1960s.
I'm a little torn on this one; the costumes, the freewheeling '60s vibe, and Pearce's performance look really spot-on. But Miller rubs me the wrong way, and I'm uneasy about the inclusion of this "Bob Dylan-esque" character. Check out the trailer and tell me: Do you have any interest in Factory Girl?

Finally, maybe we'll find out why Sienna Miller is so famous.

I couldn't have said it better myself, Buzz. That's exactly how I feel about this movie. I'll probably see it, but I'll wait for it to come out on DVD.
2i don't think i'll see it because of sienna miller. she's cute but i don't think she's a good actress.
3but the story and the elements you discussed do draw you in.
waiting for this one on DVD for sure. Sienna is just too annoying.
4Agrred Buzz. I'll be seeing this, but probably on DVD. I don't worry about Sienna either way, I just don't go to the theatre that much.

I know I'm in the minority here but I can't wait! I've been looking forward to this for so long.
6Word of mouth is that this movie is AWFUL but Sienna gives a good performance.
7I've actually already seen the movie, since it's been on the internet for sometime, and I have to say that I really like it! It was great and Sienna is perfect for the role. I don't really liked her before and I don't really like her now, but she actually is good in Factory Girl.
8skinny fat- I heard it was terrible too.
9I am still drawn to the Andy Warhol scene, so I will probably see it. Sienna Miller almost has to be overrated. She is so young. And I am not sure what she is famous for....dating Jude Law, I guess...and wearing cute clothes...and being young.
10totally agreed, Buzz. I love Guy Pierce & the swinging 60 stuff, but I HATE Sienna Miller... I'll see it if I can drag someone 2 go w/ me, but otherwise ti'll go one the netflix list
11Sienna Miller certainly turned off a lot of us Pittsburgers with her negative comments about the city during the filming, but I'll add this one to my Netflix list. The whole Warhol 60s scene is just too intriguing--and it will be nice to see Pittsburgh and the Warhol Museum on the big screen.
12I've seen it and I enjoyed it, very focused on the story created between the three main characters, so not specifically a true account of her life. I'm in love with the sixties, so I was totally buzzing about the fashion. I also ♥ Hayden Christensen.
13I would be more excited about this movie if Sienna wasnt in it. Ill probably wait until it is on DVD to see it
