Mew's [1] 2006 album And the Glass-Handed Kites [2] was notable for the supreme ugliness of its cover art [2]. But the Danish band's 2003 release, Frengers [3], is probably the superior album, and last week — at long last — it was released stateside.
I really love this track "156," which starts out sounding like bizarre, synthesized fantasy then morphs into a catchy pop number you might hear on "Laguna Beach." To listen to the song,
